DAY 3 Going to Evia Evia is believed to have originally formed part of the mainland, and to have been separated from it by an earthquake. This is fairly probable, because it lies in the neighborhood of a fault line, and both Thucydides and Strabo write that the northern part of the island had been shaken at different periods. Here the vineyards are at an altitude of 250 - 500 m. DAY 5 Santorini The vineyards are rather unique in Santorini. The vines are wrapped into baskets to be protected from the ÂŤmeltemiaÂť winds in the dry summer. Porous soils, hot sunny days and foggy nights give the vines an interesting taste. Free day Catamaran Excursion

DAY 8 CRETE In the southern corner of Greece lies an island called Crete, where the oldest wine press ever was found. So here we can say, is where the first poem of wine was “written�. Like an angel from above the sierra of Psiloreitis stands in strength and greatness over the island, creating fertile valleys and slopes covered in vines and olive trees.
