REGENERATING THE TRAIN LINE | PECKHAM .2 The Peckham train line sits above viaduct arches that are currently unused and blocked off from the public. My mission was to create a simple design that connected a residential block with the train station and to make use of the viaduct arches. My target audience was commuters in Peckham as Londoners commute for an average of 74 minutes every day.
NORTH ELEVATION This is the North elevation that shows the relationship between the existing site and the new residential area. It also shows the relationship between the trains and the building and the uses of the viaduct arches.
The other goal was to create more vertical connections through Peckham as currently Rye lane is overly dense due to it being the only pedestrian and vehicle crossing through Peckham. 1. 0
