Contemporary Art Museum Birmingham Contemporary Art Museum Building was inspired by other Birmingham City landmarks such as the Selfridges and Library of Birmingham building, which both carried the important part to create and form Birmingham City's identity. So this building will be the next landmark of Birmingham that will help the city to create its identity. The facade of the museum is made out of polycarbonate panels which use not only to filter direct sunlight into the building but also to give the mysterious figures of the artworks and the visitors inside the building for people from outside the museum. It encourages them to come and visit the exhibition spaces.
