Terrell Donnell Sledge (Thomas, aka T.O; he/ him), is a dual ivy leaguer who embodies the visionary agency for the creation of conscientious artistic expressions that influence social connectedness in ways that facilitate the reimagining of values in order to harness emotional intelligence, healthy communication, cultural integrity, as well as individual and collective power. Flores has been seen on TV in episodes of Full Frontal W/ Samantha Bee and was ranked top 5 in the world in several categories at the Fred Astaire World Ballroom Championships. critically-acclaimed plays like And In This Corner Cassius Clay, How We Got On and Hype Man: a break beat play are widely produced across the country at professional theatres, college campuses and non-traditional spaces alike. He’s been honored to receive commissions and developmental support from institutions like The Kennedy Center, The Eugene O’Neill Conference, Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s American Revolutions Series, Actors Theatre of Louisville, and Berkeley Rep’s Ground Floor Residency. He’s currently writing Scarfoot Lives, a new play co-commissioned by Arena Stage’s Power Play Program and The Playwright Center’s McKnight Fellowship. In addition to the recently released poetry collection Can I Kick It?, he’s had several publications with Haymarket Books including Inauguration, Human Highlight: Ode To Dominique Wilkins and the controversial play This Is Modern Art co-written with Kevin Coval. His words, voice and sometimes entire body, have shown up on HBO Def Poetry, Sesame Street, NPR, BBC radio, and the Discovery Channel. Idris is the Director of The Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College. A frequent public speaker at conferences and educational spaces, Idris is one of the leading voices in his field, committed to using art to cultivate more diverse and equitable spaces. He has since served as Production Sound Engineer for ATC the past nine seasons in Tucson and became Sound Supervisor in January 2020. Ido Levran (Technical Director) Ido Levran is excited to work with ATC on their digital season! He has been designing and programming video on and off-Broadway and around the country. And for the digital realm, he adapted and implemented structures to produce and stream multiple theatrical performances of different kinds. Alex Murphy (Stage Manager: he/him) was working on the Off-Broadway production of Romeo and Bernadette before the shutdown. Previous credits include the Off-Broadway production of Two’s a Crowd starring Rita Rudner and a staged reading of On Every Link a Heart Does Dangle, as well as the Off-Broadway lab of I Spy a Spy. EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP Sean Daniels A (Artistic Director) is honored to be in his second season at ATC, where he first fell in love with theatre.

Sean has directed at Manhatta n Theatre Club (The Lion, Drama Desk Award & Theatre World Award, nominated for Lucille Lortel and Outer Critics Circle), 59e59 (NYC, I and You, nominated for Outer Critics Circle), Lynn Redgrave (NYC), The Kennedy Center (Washington, D.C.), St. James (West End, London - The Lion, winner of Best New Musical), Arena Stage, A.C.T. (San Francisco), Milwaukee Rep, Old Globe, Geffen (L.A.), Actors Theatre of Louisville, Portland Center Stage, Geva Theatre, Playmakers Rep, Cleveland Play House, Alliance Theatre, California Shakespeare, Dad’s Garage Theatre Company, City Theatre, Swine Palace, Neo-Futurists, Aurora Theatre, Crowded Fire and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. He was previously the Artistic Director of Merrimack Repertory Theatre, where he received national attention for his multiple artistic engagement programs that brought the community inside the organization. He’s also served as the Artist-At-Large for Geva Theatre Center and spent four years at the Tony Award®-winning Actors Theatre of Louisville as the theatre’s Associate Artistic Director (where he directed 17 productions including five Humana Festivals). Mr. Daniels is the former Associate Artistic Director/Resident Director of the California Shakespeare Theater and before that spent a decade as the Artistic Director and Co-Founder of Dad’s Garage Theater Company in Atlanta. He has developed new work with the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center, Ars Nova, PlayPenn, Lark, PlayLabs, New York Stage and Film, Asolo Rep, Goodspeed Opera, Weston Playhouse, Bay Area Playwrights, Magic Theatre and was the first American director asked to attend the Baltic American Playwrights Conference in Hiiumaa, Estonia. As a playwright, his work has been produced at Actors Theatre of Louisville, City Theatre, Merrimack Repertory Theatre and Dad’s Garage. He was the first ever playwright authorized by the Jack Kerouac Estate to adapt his work for the stage. The Commercial Off-Broadway run of his sober comedy The White Chip was produced by fivetime Tony Award* nominee Tom Kirdahy. EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP Geri Wright A (Managing Director) returned to Arizona Theatre Company in January 2020. Her love of theatre started at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on a school field trip and has grown into a passion for the arts today. Having served in leadership roles at the Heard Museum, American Red Cross, Arizona Theatre Company and most recently as CEO of Act One, Geri has been a passionate advocate for the importance that the arts play in creating healthy and prosperous communities. With more than 25 years in nonprofit management and fundraising experience, she is thrilled to be able to put those skills to use in serving our state theatre. In 2019, Geri was recognized as one of the Outstanding Women in Business by the Phoenix Business Journal and has been honored with an assortment of acknowledgments for her work in the charitable community. Geri and her family, along with two horses and an Australian cattle dog, reside at the base of the McDowell Mountains.

IN MEMORY OF Slivy Edmonds A (Honorary Trustee) The Arizona Theatre Company staff, volunteers, artists and Board of Trustees extend a heartfelt thank you to Slivy Edmonds Cotton for her visionary leadership and support of the arts and education in Tucson. As a longtime ATC trustee and emeritus trustee, Slivy served as board chair in the mid-1990s and provided strong leadership with energy and grace. She was especially fond of August Wilson’s plays, many of which were directed by Lou Bellamy, and she got to know Wilson so well that she became a founding board member of the African Grove Institute for the Arts, where she served as chairman. It’s thanks to the generosity and passion of Slivy, and so many others, that Arizona Theatre Company has brought world-class theatre to Arizona for 54 years and counting.

Nina Simone: Four Women imagines a conversation, often through music, between Simone and three African-American women from varied walks-of-life.
