NEW APP FOR PHYSICIAN VISITS QuestionBuilder is a new, free app from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality that helps patients and caregivers prepare in advance for medical appointments, maximizing time with their physicians. QuestionBuilder asks you to select your reason for the physician visit, then presents lists of questions you might want to ask your physician. Writing your own, personal questions is an easy addition. The app lets you save your questions to a calendar appointment or send them to any email address: your own, that of your physician, or that of a trusted friend or caregiver. QuestionBuilder is available at the Apple App or Google Play stores at no cost. For more information, or to download a one-page handout physicians can reproduce for office distribution, go to www.ahrq.gov and search for QuestionBuilder.
