WHAT’S IN THE CONCEPT ? Metamorphosis is an art and design in transforming one item into similar shape that represents something else. It all started with the selecting a monument in Delhi which is shapes, 3d patterns, motifs, forms, textures., an architecture which completely, inspires me by its past and present and incidents of destruction and its reconstruction works during 19th century ad. this is a monument is symbolic to “Victory of Mughal Empire on Delhi”. 0 In the project, I went to Qutub Minar clicked pictures of poles, minar, etc for research of project. The project required sorting of the images according to the shape, structure, architecture,poles and motifs. Sketching details were worked upon and recreating patterns by scaling up and down, created mood board , colour board were created and derived keywords. Side by side working upon iterations and proceeding towards technicals for the project and construction of the final garment along with all other boards.
