Cutstream Vera Serif Typography for Print 2015
This is the typeface I re-constructed. The typeface was known as Bitstream Vera Serif and after re-construction I named it Cutstream Vera Serif.

Cutstream didn’t take to long for me to decide on it’s final look, but the first original font on the left with the sketches was called Book Antiqua and i thought it just didn’t flow very well. Once I found Bitstream Vera Serif, I decided to experiment and re-construct it and the final version turned out really nicely. so I decided to stick with it.

The only problems that I had were with the apostrophes. They didn’t seem to come up when i created the exported .tff file. I then realized I had to change the way they looked as well as place it on the 4 quotation mark areas to make it work correctly.
