"Aroos Magazine" just Celebrated it's 10 year Anniversary at the Seven Degrees in laguna Beach. this private Gathering was held on November 9th with over 200 Guests attending , that included the most amazing wedding and event vendors and Aroos Magazine Bridal show Sponsors in southern California. In 2007 the first volume of Aroos Magazine was published in 1000 copies by Metro Digital and of course it was so popular that the second publication increased to 10,000 copies. Since then we had Aroos Magazine Luxury bridal show every year so successful, and we believe this wouldn’t be happening without your kind support. I’m thankful to all my colleagues and friends for great help and support and I hope continue your support in future to improve this work. What’s the history of your company? Seven-Degrees is the juxtaposition of refined luxury and modern angles. Built in 2001, the modern architectural piece is a canvas for resident artists and events. From the smallest, seven-degree corner after which it’s named, to the native succulent landscaping and contemporary rooms, the venue has many facets and limitless opportunities. Do you work with all budgets, or do you specialize I high- end events? We customize proposals! With offering different packages, we work with every budget. What’s your personal design aesthetic? We want everything to be perfect for our couple’s BIG day and we triple check all details to make sure everything is perfect. We love when all the linens are crisp and the seams are lined up. Also it is important that all décor is perfectly set. What are some of your favorite ideas for events? We love the donuts bars, ice cream stations and photo booths at weddings and events. We also love when couple decides to have a late night snacks. It’s such a great idea and guests love it! 22i Fall / Winter

We work with every budget ! Could you describe what services you provide? Seven-Degrees is not only an event venue, but also offers full service event planning that marries style and substance. The creative staff of event virtuosus and hand-selected contractors excel at both creating and coordinating each detail of the experience. Through their panorama of services and custom options, every event at Seven-Degrees is a singular, one-of-a-kind invention. From in-house catering and beverage services to florals and décor. Extensive in-house audio/visual capabilities include retractable large-screen projection systems, plasma and LCD screens, zoned sound system, multimedia display, video capture and broadcast capability from digital cameras located throughout the facility, and intelligent lighting systems including full-room color wash capability. What was one of your most memorable weddings/designs and what made it special? One of my most memorable weddings at seven-degrees was probably the circus wedding we coordinated last month. They hand made all their décor and really went all out on their theme. There were several different carnival games, prizes and yummy late night snacks. So creative and so much fun. What make you stand out from your competitors? We are a venue that is alive and beating, and can be molded to suit your masterpiece.

Could you describe your services? The Besharati Group specializes in creating weddings, social events and corporate celebrations. We have two main departments in our company: Full Service Design + Planning AND Creative Catering. Full Service Design + Planning: We work with our clients every step of the way to design intimate events that are effortless, timeless and unique. The Besharati Group spearheads the creation, design and implementation of your celebration from concept to completion, and will collaborate with you on even the tiniest of details to ensure the most cherished guest experience. Creative Catering: We work with you to customize a menu that reflects your personal style and taste. Due to our long-standing collaborations and repeated business with venues throughout California, we've partnered up with a number of AAA Five Star Hotels in order to create an exclusive catering package that will properly fit your vision. Our classically trained chefs pride themselves on sourcing the freshest ingredients in order to create one-of-a-kind dishes inspired by the cuisines and customs of the Middle East and Europe.

What’s the history of your company? How did you get into business? The Besharati Group is a Father-Daughter Duo (Jozef & Sara) who have been working alongside one another for a number of years now. Jozef Besharati, who leads our Catering Team, has over 25 years of experience in culinary creations and hotel management. He has built an excellent reputation that has made him one of the most preferred event caterers in Southern California. Jozef ’s experience first began when he attended one of the top culinary and hotel management schools in Europe: Le Vieux Bois in Genève, Switzerland. After six years of education and training, he proceeded to work at the acclaimed, Five Star Hotel du Rhone in Genève. After nearly 10 years of advancing his knowledge in the management and culinary world, Jozef moved to Newport Beach where he spent over a decade working as a Director at the Five Star Le Meridian Hotel and Five Star Sutton Place Hotel. At last, Jozef decided to pursue his own passion in catering. Through his exquisite taste, first-class cuisine and impeccable attention to detail, he has awed his clients with one amazing event after another. He even has a restaurant, House of Kabob in Irvine, that provides great Persian cuisine. Jozef has lived and traveled abroad extensively and is fluent in English, French, and Farsi. In his spare time, Jozef enjoys fine wine, tennis, skiing, and quality time with the family. Our Planning + Design team is led by myself, Sara Besharati. After graduating from University, I spent five years living in Spain and working in International Business. Since weddings + events ran deep in my roots, I moved back to Southern California to pursue the development of my Planning + Design company--The Besharati Group was born from there. I’ve been able to formulate special relationships with clients from all around the world based on my international + corporate experience. I understand what people want, and I make sure to deliver on it. My talented team and I strive to execute a vision that incorporates modern trends balanced by the cultural aspects and traditions. What are some of the big trends right now? Trends in the wedding world are constantly changing! The bar has been set high this year, so we are coming up with new and innovative ideas for next year’s weddings. Metallic color palettes are amongst the top trends right now. Our design concepts are going beyond the traditional gold and silver accent colors—color schemes now include rose gold, copper, bronze, or pewter. And don’t be afraid to mix metallics either! Pantone’s 2017 color of the year is “GREENERY”. This fab color is lush, lavish, and lends itself to many color combinations. You don’t necessarily have to have a rustic wedding to use greenery either! Unique ceiling treatments have also become a trend this past year. Installations could include greenery (naturally), draping + fabric treatments, specialty lanterns, lighting, and of course elaborate floral designs. Treatments of this sort transform any space into a more intimate setting!

And last but not least, one of the major trends we are currently experiencing is the never-ending feast of foods! Our catering team has been hearing more and more from our clients that food is IMPORTANT to them. They want to present their guests with a new experience, one that resonates with their personal style and allows for guest interaction. Some of our interactive stations include raw bar on ice, ‘tadik’ stations, and live paella preparation. And now late night snacks are more of a ‘must do’ as opposed to simply an add-on. And we can’t forget about desserts! From donut walls to specialty ice cream ‘bastani’ and ‘faloodeh’ sandwiches, guests are sure to leave satisfied!

What’s your advice for brides right now in this recession? You don’t have to spend $300k on your wedding to have a fabulous celebration! Try to select a venue that provides upgraded in-house linens, napkins, and chairs. I suggest infusing your wedding with more natural candlelight—perhaps adding specialty votives and tall candlesticks throughout your tablescape. Low, lush floral centerpieces are also a chic way to save money while still giving your event an opulent look. What are your future plans? We have some spectacular events coming up in 2018! With Events + Weddings both in California and abroad, our aim is to continue to be distinctive, innovative, and to bridge the gap between traditional and modern.
