Fashion is no stranger to tulle. What originally started in Tulle, France as a speciality fabric woven in a hexagonal shape quickly became the fabric of use for tutus and gowns throughout the world. Known for its lightweight and breathable quality, fine tulle is reminiscent of a cloud.

Marais Sky is a ballet-inspired line of feminine, ethereal and dreamy couture and ready-to-wear tulle dresses and skirts designed by Sepi Danosian Bahadori.

Sepi comes from an incredibly artistic family - her father was an artist and her mother is a pianist and was born in Vienna, Austria, the mecca of art and music. So, the inspiration for her designs comes from classic ballets she watched and artists she admired as a child (like The Nutcracker and Degas).

Named after her daughters, Valentina and Juliette (as a compilation of their two middle names Marais pronounced “Ma-Ray”, the historic art and fashion district in Paris - and Sky), Sepi brought Marais Sky to life in January 2018 and in the past year, she has dressed celebrity children such as Nicky Hilton Rothschild’s daughter and is currently doing a series of pop up shops at Nordstrom locations throughout southern California.
