OPENING NIGHT
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 11 AT 7:30 PM In this stylishly romantic, sensual, and true-to-life exploration of the intricacies of relationships, engineer Avner suspects his psychologist wife Ella of having an affair. But while searching for hard evidence, he discovers something else: that the woman he thought he knew is a complete stranger to him. In his quest to uncover the true nature of their bond, he comes to realize that the more he learns, the less he understands. Echo is at once intimate and universal cinema, a film with a questioning heart and mind that frankly acknowledges passion is often beyond the grasp of rationality.

For the first time on film, six young women who made it to the IDF’s prestigious pilot course are featured, from their first day at the academy through the harsh cuts that follow. Female Israeli soldiers have had the right to apply to flight school for over 20 years, but only a few have earned their wings, with the issue of gender still a contested topic for cadets, officers, and society-at-large. Touching the Sky goes behind the scenes during the first six months of flight school, detailing the lives of these young women, sharing their personal stories, dreams, and fears.

INSIDE THE MOSSAD
The Mossad, Israel's Foreign Intelligence agency, has been almost completely sealed off to the media for many years. Over the nearly seven decades of its existence, the Mossad has cultivated its image as a daring, all-powerful intelligence agency for which no ‘mission impossible’ exists. Now, for the first time since its founding, this perceptive documentary brings to the screen the stories of 24 former spy-chiefs and operatives. These rare interviews provide a first-person perspective on the personal and operational challenges they overcame, the ethical dilemmas they faced, and the top-secret operations that have shaped Israel's past, and may yet shape its future.
