The Miami Beach Jewish Community Center (the “MBJCC”) conducts a detailed background and pre-employment investigation process. The Counselor In Training Program (CIT) is a rewarding, challenging and fun training program. The CIT program is for those entering 9th grade and are ready for a new challenge of hands-on leadership. Our CITs are individually selected because they have demonstrated the strong potential to successfully make the transition to staff member because of their maturity, responsibility, good judgment and teaching potential. The CITs will learn from our experienced counselors, rotate throughout all our camps, learn the process of filling out a job application and learn interview skills. The benefits of participating in the Counselor in Training (CIT) program are endless!
