Welcome to the Fesbruary issue of Epworth and Belton Arrow

Well, 2023 has got off to a very wet start, but despite the bad weather it's been an encouraging month for us here with several new advertisers already on board. It is good to know that during these challenging times, businesses are coming out fighting!

We would love to get more local information on events in the area, especially now Spring is fast up on us. If you are a member of a society/ charity or have planned an event for 2023 and you want to let the Isle know please be in touch. This is your local magazine so spread the word!

Enjoy the read

The deadline for the March issue is early and is Friday 3rd February for delivery by the 1st March.

Doncaster Movie Makers have had a successful start after Covid. We have had a 5 minute film competition. The winner was a montage of beautiful skies and sunsets. Runner up was Don Mcquade’s film about Dunsville Quarry Park. We also have had a Holiday and Day out competition and Don was successful again with his ariel filming from a light aircraft. The Runner up was a documentary about the infamous Caminito Del Rey walk in Andalusia.

If you make films, why not contact us to see your films played to an audience on a large screen. We are a group of friendly amateur film makers and even if you just like watching films you will be welcome. Engagement with the Community

One of the principal roles of your Neighbourhood Policing Team is engaging with the communities we serve. Policing is a partnership approach and through regular engagement we are able to build a picture of the issues you face and what we can do together to resolve them.

In the age of social media a lot of our work is posted online and this is certainly true of how we advertise our engagement events. This events are open to all members of the community and we recognise that not everyone follow social media. This means some sections of the community may be missing out on opportunities to meet our team, take our Humber Talking survey and discuss issues of concern. Please take the opportunity to meet your local PCSO and/or PC at the below locations:
