Sprotbrough Theatre Group
Do you like going to live theatre but don’t relish the thought of expensive tickets, driving and the expensive parking fees on top of the price of a theatre ticket? Well , have you considered joining Sprotbrough Theatre Group as a means of reducing these costs?
We have a current membership of ninety people but always welcome new members. The membership cost to join this year is £20. This helps to subsidise trips and provides you with access to a regular newsletter, concessionary theatre tickets across the region and coach transport to and from the theatre.
Last year we enjoyed 20 visits of various genres (drama, musicals, ballet, comedy all on tour from the West End Theatres) to York, Leeds, Bradford, Sheffield and Doncaster.
We conclude the year in March with an AGM with food and entertainment . We welcome new members with the opportunity to meet new people who share similar interests. Please contact Janet on 07985668177 for further information if you are interested.

Captivating Cirque du Freak
Our Year 5 have started the year with a theatrical launch day for their new novel to study 'Cirque du Freak' by Darren Shan. We had some wonderful costumes on display and a day filled with clues to reveal this term’s text.
Marvellous Motor Skills
Our Early Years children are settling well into the routine of strengthening their hand muscles in morning motor skills. They have made a great start.
Uplifting Ukuleles
Our Year 5 children have been getting to grips with learning a new instrument this year with Mrs Patterson. They are certainly enjoying learning the ukulele.
Remarkable Rock Heroes
Watch out there are Rock Heroes about! What a great launch for our Year 4 times table rock stars event. Already they are flying up the leader boards.
