Utilities & HOA Communications Package

The local electric company is SCE&G. You will need to contact SCE&G prior to your closing to activate your service. Water & gas are included within your Homeowners Association Dues, therefore you will not need to activate these services. Cable and Internet through Home Telecom are included within your Homeowners Association dues. HomeTelecom Services (Voice, Video & Internet) will be set up prior to your move-in. At move-in, you will find a DVR box set up in the main living space along with a Welcome Letter orienting you to the services provided. One of the many benefits of The Gadsden is its location in Historic Downtown Charleston. Because of its urban location, we will follow a structured move-in schedule to streamline the process. When we first open, we will schedule three move-ins a day, Monday through Saturday, with four-hour increments for each move. Window Treatments
You are welcome to install window treatments on the interior of your residence. As noted in the Rules & Regulations, any portion of your window treatments visible from the outside of the residence shall be white, off-white, or light beige in color.
