a conceptual representation of ‘the grid of time’: a cage that holds us as we attempt to capture and control the rush of time. De Jorio Design has followed a similar developmental direction throughout the discotheque, in carefully detailed furnishings that include the bar counter, seating and tables of various heights. In the VIP area, a sensuous space furnished with comfy plush sofas, liquidity solidifies to become a blaze of vivid colours.
About De Jorio Design De Jorio Design International, a leading Italian architecture and design company, was established in 1956 by architect Giuseppe de Jorio. From the '80s, architects Vittorio de Jorio and Marco de Jorio joined him in the company management, and are currently responsible for all projects. The firm is known for its work in the shipbuilding industry, and particularly for its unique interior design of passenger and cruise vessels, including luxury yachts. Among the project assistants to be mentioned architects Gianluca Goretti, Luca Mori and Giulio Clavarino.

The concept of ‘liquid time’, flowing fluidly and freely, provided inspiration for the design of this large, panoramic discotheque, with its strikingly circular shape. The theme dominates the walls, which feature flowing forms of shining fuchsia, from which screen images emerge; the floor, enlivened by large planes of coloured glass; and the bar, where fuchsiastained resin emits a gush of brilliant colour into the space.
