Helping the STORIES LIVE ON 2008-2009 Sustaining Campaign

The moment the doors opened to the long awaited Lewis Library and Technology Center this past spring, our community was changed forever.

Thousands of our family members, friends, co-workers and neighbors have already been inspired, educated or entertained by the Library’s nearly limitless materials and programs. As a committed member of our community and as a proponent of literacy and education, we urge you to contribute to the Fontana Library Foundation 2008-2009 Sustaining Campaign.

Your support will help to maintain the special materials and areas of the facility, thereby literally helping the STORiES LiVE ON. As well, your generous donations will be used to bring new materials and programs to its patrons, and will ensure the STORiES of inspired, educated and entertained Library patrons LiVE ON for decades to come.

• Raise awareness of the Lewis Library and Technology Center; • Encourage use of the Library; • Conduct annual sustaining campaigns to support the Library; • Encourage the community to volunteer and support the annual sustaining campaigns; • Establish endowment funds and other funding vehicles to support the Library; • Encourage gifts of books, magazines, local historical items, and other library related materials; and, • Receive, invest, and utilize funds and property acquired through loans and solicitations of contributions, donations, grants, gifts, bequests, and the like for the purposes for which the Library Division is formed.
