GEORGE WYLESOL
ARTIST STATEMENT
FAVORITE CEREAL
My work is simple and clean. I am obsessed with letters. I like drawing creepy shit.
Oh shit man, cereal, I could go on for ages about cereal. I love cereal. I don’t eat it with milk. I stand there in the kitchen and eat it straight from the box with my hands, like a primate. I think my favorite are any of the “Honey Bunches” varieties. I love the bunches. Captain Crunch is pretty good too but its hard to eat without milk because it destroys the inside of your mouth. I’m working on an industrial sized box of Cheerios right now, they’re so boring though. Whatever.
ABOUT ME My name is George Wylesol. I am an illustrator, designer and writer from Northeast Philly . WHAT I DO WHEN I’M NOT MAKING THINGS I work as a janitor in an OB/GYN at night and also fix TVs on the side. I like to drink.

CLAIRE MARIE CHRISTERSON
ABOUT I am an artist, born and raised in New York City . I am currently going to the School of Visual Arts for photography, but my main focus is video art. I make GIFs and am interested in other fine arts, such as painting, and costume and set design and video making. I am inspired by things such as, alternate realities, mystical creatures, bling, myspace and Sesame Street. I am interested in creating my own environments that for me best balance my childhood with the world that I live in now.

WHAT I DO WHEN I’M NOT MAKING THINGS Watching hilarious videos with my friend Karmen, quoting Napoleon Dynamite, and thinking about making things. I get really inspired when I’m just laughing and joking around a lot of the time.
FAVORITE CEREAL Oatmeal and Nutella
Haha...two days ago,
I was in Manhattan Beach, CA and I walked by a group of girl scouts selling cookies. I walked by, because I wasn’t interested at the moment. So then this little girl screams: “WE TAKE CREDIT CARDS!” And before I know it the whole gang is chanting (at the top of their lungs): “GIRL SCOUTS...COOKIES!” Over and over again. It was crazy...I recorded that chant on my phone. I kind of want to put it into a video that I am working on.

ABOUT Valerian Pacifico Ocampo, of partial Pacific Islander descent, was born in upstate New York in 1984. Pursuing various visual mediums until 2008, he committed himself to painting despite his commercial background in typography and layout (SAIC 2011). He practices from his studio in Brooklyn, NY. His current series is dubbed Bushes, in which he explores the socio-economical intricacies of contemporary culture through a juxtaposition of minimalism and satirical, overly decorative embellishment.
WHAT I DO WHEN I’M NOT MAKING THINGS Making other things- building walls and such.

WA S T E D R I TA
ARTIST STATEMENT Not hype enough. Not social enough. Not technicist enough. Not mom & dad’s money enough. Not bootlicker enough.
ABOUT Rita. 20 + something. Made in New Jersey . Born and raised in
the wrong country. 24/7 thinker. Dropping statements like it’s hot. More sarcastic than you. Badass drawer. Quite common in general. Terribly unique in particular.

WHAT I DO WHEN I’M NOT MAKING THINGS 1. Thinking about the things I want to make. 2. Drinking beer while thinking about the things I want to make. 3. Walking or jogging while listening to music (sometimes punk-rock other times Rihanna or TLC) and thinking about the things I want to make. 4. Hanging out with other human beings and completely ignoring everything they say because I am too busy thinking about the things I want to make. 5. Touching myself while thinking about the things I want to make - to his cock.
