As a comic book fan, I feel like that was something that had to be hidden or spoken about in hushed tones. People would often make fun or say things like “I used to read comics when I was a kid”. I think it’s great to expose my children to an environment where everyone is free to be who they are and support whatever pop culture they like in an accepting environment without bullying. It’s an inclusive, stress-free environment where I can share my love of comics, toys and pop-culture with my children.
