En «Indicio de algo», Mauro Vallejo piensa en los agentes que se encuentran entre las palabras, que les confieren sentido y facilitan la comunicación. Los signos convertidos en objetos de reflexión, en objetos pulsionales y no auxiliares, ponen en consideración la idea del lenguaje como un espacio de infinita posibilidad. El espacio vacío señalado y gestionado por cada uno de estos símbolos funciona como un significante flotante, es decir, como la posibilidad latente de un contenido, como la presencia de elementos semánticos no ligados entre sí, cuya sintaxis está supeditada al ejercicio de interpretación, y también a la escasa materialidad del objeto–signo y la pausa, el énfasis, o la incertidumbre reclamada por éste.

In the project "Indicio de algo", Mauro Vallejo thinks about the agents that lie between words, that give them meaning and facilitate communication. Signs turned into objects of reflection, objects of impulses rather than auxiliary objects, bring into consideration the idea of language as an infinite space of possibility. The empty space indicated and managed by each one of these symbols works as a free floating signifier, that is to say, as a latent possibility of content, as the presence of semantic elements not linked to each other, whose syntax is subordinated to the exercise of interpretation, and also to the scarce materiality of the sign–object and the pause, the emphasis, or the uncertainty claimed by it.
