Fish, very little meat, local greens, legumes, cheeses and wine are not absent from the dinner table. Grilled octopus, cuttlefish, squid, sea urchins, shells, limpets and pinnas all become excellent mezedes together with Tsikoudia which is produced every year in the autumn, and is an important event for the island.
The Kastro of Antiparos, which was built by the nobleman Loredano, constitutes the settlement itself. Located in the middle of Chora is a must place to visit.

The characteristic that Antiparos nightlife shares in common with the other Cycladic isles is the partying till the crack of dawn and beyond, as well as the variety of musical choices on offer, catering to all tastes. It is very difficult not to make friends on Antiparos. In bars, at the square, in clubs or at the disco, the opportunity for a chat will present itself!

Discover the central pedestrian precinct where the market is. Slab-paved, tidy, islandstyle and only for pedestrians, it leads to the Square of Ayios Nikolaos, a meeting point for locals and holidaymakers, both old and young. This distance takes about seven minutes to cover.

Clear, turquoise waters that astound. It gathers many young people, as is naturally expected, and nudism is permitted on a section of the beach.

Even before getting off the ferry boat or little vessel taking you to Antiparos, its little harbour, Ayia Marina, the windmill and the whitewashed houses welcome you. From the first moment you feel its enchanting aura.
All churches and chapels on Antiparos continue to operate and hold Mass. A religious celebration takes place on their feast day, and pilgrims are transported to the celebrating church by municipal bus.
