INHALT August 1999 - die Geburtstunde einer Idee, einer Vision von Kunst, Provokation und Untergundszenerie im Internet: Graffiti im Netz auf www.artistz.de. Lange Zeit im Schatten der um Lichtjahre besseren Seite BerlinGraffitiSux und zu Beginn noch roh und ungeschliffen, gärte und wucherte das Geschwür der Vandalismuskunst, denn artistz.de erhielt Zuwachs und wurde reichlich mit den Früchten Eurer Arbeit beliefert. Wir bedankten uns mit entarteten Parties, schlecht organisierten Hall-Battles und feucht-fröhlichen Fußballturnieren. Doch das reichte uns noch nicht! Artistz.de wurde ins Leben gerufen, weil Graffiti weg von den Magazinen ins Internet ziehen sollte. Da es aber ohne den Blick zurück nicht Graffiti wäre, gab es Artistz zum anfassen und blättern in Form der Artistz-Magazine #1 und #2. Heute kehren wir einmal mehr zurück zu den Wurzeln und präsentieren zum zehnjährigen Jubiläum: Artistz-Magazin #3 im Hardcover verpackt.

Nun aber genug der großen Worte - viel Spaß beim Durchblättern! August 1999 - the birth of an idea, a vision of art, provocation and undergroundfeeling within the internet: graffiti online at www. artistz.de. For a long time under the shadow of BerlinGraffitiSux, the first steps raw and unpolished, the virus of vandalism-art proliferated and grew, because artistz.de got flodded with your stuff. We thanked you with degenerated parties, bad organized hall battles and drunken soccer cups. But that wasn‘t enough. Artistz.de was born because graffiti should find the way from the magazines to the internet. But even the internet can‘t live without tradition so we decided to create Artistz in printed form for you to thumb through. On the 10th anniversary we once again return to the roots and present the third issue, packed in a nice hardcover. But now enough of the big words - we wish you much fun with this issue!
