OBJECT STORIES Using a selection of objects from around the home, can you lay them out and create a story around each object? For example, you lay out a sock, a book, a stone, a fork....can you create a storyline? ‘One day Jim lost his sock....he decided to consult the book of wise spells to see if he could make a ‘finding spell’....by accident he accidentally turned his foot into stone! He used a fork to see if he had any feeling in his foot only to discover.....’ etc. This is. A silly example but you get the idea! Try using a selection of things from your home to create a story - you can collaborate with each other and take turns.... you could even write down your stories to relive again... Could you add sounds or textures as you go or if working in a group, hand around the objects as the story progresses. How imaginative and ambitious can you be with your storyline?

You will need; some household objects and your imagination...

OBJECT /SCULPTURE / COLOUR - Inspired by Tony Cragg / Martin Creed Tony Cragg and Martin Creed are important British artists who use household objects in their work - making us re-think and re-order the materials we have around us. Could you make a temporary sculpture inspired by Tony Cragg or Martin Creed as temporary sculpture in your home or garden? GO FOR IT! You can arrange in order of size or colour! Using objects you have around you work together to make a sculpture like the ones you see here! Send us in photos of your achievements! You will need; your household stu!
