OGIDAN JESUTOFUNMI EMMANUEL @tofxnmi

Ogidan Jesutofunmi is a contemporary visual artist that attempts to express the plight of millennials in a fast moving subjective world as it relates to history/historical events/phenomena repeating itself in a cycle. With my art, i am attempting to relate the repetitive nature of human experiences to historical cycles and paint a glimmer of hope in the ever present dark clouds of life; as crises do not ever completely leave us.

LOLA MUÑOZ @makarandaarte

Lola Muñoz was born in the Mediterranean city of Valen- cia, Spain, a multidisciplinary artist, teacher of Art and Yoga for Children workshops, after living the last eight years in Mexico, she returned to Spain three years ago fascinated by nature, Mexican culture and its beautiful crafts, her work focuses on the search for innate qualities of the human soul: beauty, calm, femininity, compassion , peace and inner wisdom, all represented through the study of the different archetypes and symbols present in all cultures with a cosmogony such as: Mesoamerican, Nordic or Eastern cultures. She makes collage drawn and painted in oil along with work with engraving techniques, linographs and mixed techniques, seeking healing in each work, always open to inner knowledge and the freedom that artistic creation brings her.

ROXANA AKA NOMALISDREAM @globeroxx

My intuitive art is a mixture of color, shape, and geometry that goes beyond the unseen...I have restarted drawing a while back as a means of relaxing and cultivating medita- tive states and now I feel that what I channel in drawing is part of something larger then what I have identified as relaxing or just hobby. The paintings are meant to be felt and looked at with the curiosity, playfulness, and the excitement that a new beginning holds...we can always reinvent ourselves as many times as we like, it’s only a matter of choosing a new mix of colors, exploration is endless! Enjoy

SELENA @selinikol

My name is Selena Nikolic and I am an artist from Belgrade, Serbia. It still seems strange for me to write that sentence as I have never spoken of myself as an artist. I had no formal higher education in the art field and even though I have painted my whole life, I have only recently started posting/showing/sending my artwork. However, I believe in art for art's sake. I believe that I need to create and that I always had this intrinsic desire which was hidden. I believe that everyone is an artist in their own way. I believe art is one of the reasons life is worth living. And the colors on the canvas bring vibration to my life.

ARIARINA @aria_a_rina

Ariarina is an illustrator that realized her need to create at a young age. She finds inspiration in the abstract things in everyday life, folklore stories and visuals, pastel colors, clean lines, and the people that surround her. Her work is composed with shapes, figures and lines that reflect the simplicity and beauty of human spirit, celestial objects, plants and nature and concepts of thought. Her work can be seen in a variety of different platforms. Mainly through traditional mediums like Oils, Acrylics, watercolor, as well as a few different mediums, such as pottery and ceramic art. Digital printable wall art is also an essential medium, always integral to the creative process. She has a strong love for painting, birds, folklore, nordic and minimal decoration.

CORINNE PAGDAGDAGANATHANASSIADES cqpagdagdagan@gmail.com

Upon moving to Greece, reacquainted with her paintbrush and in bold strokes portrayed the joys and struggles of motherhood on canvas. Used to the hurly-burly of banquet and event management in the Philippines, Corinne has spun an art style that hews closely to abstract expressionism. Her works Food on My Mind, Postpartum, and Mother Frankenstein deeply delve on maternal psyche that is at once concerned with mun- dane tasks (what to serve for breakfast?), filial anxiety (how to make the baby happy?), and existential dread (when will there be an end to wildfires, climate change, and the pandemic?). Whether in Loutraki, New York, or Manila, Corinne seeks to depict motherhood as a transcen- dent state-of-being.

IDELE FRED @fredart_contemporary

Fredrick Idele Osarodion is a painter and art instructor who lives and works in Benin, Nigeria. He is a mixed media artist who sees his immediate environment as a large canvas that offers limitless opportunity to explore. This is evident in his exploration of diverse materials like pastel, charcoal, pencils, markers and acrylic as well as his conceptual approach to figurative renditions. Fredrick is a graduate of the University of Benin, Nigeria

ALICE KARVELI @blackarrowstothesun

Alice Karveli (originally from Athens and based in London since 2014) is is an interdisciplinary mixed media artist, with a Mixed Media Fine Art BA from the University of Westminster. She works with and combines many mediums (painting, drawing, collage, photography, installation, poetry, music, sound and dance), focusing on performance, live and particularly through film, laboriously edited into hypnotic visions with immersive, experimental soundscapes. In working with the body, she uses the kinaesthetic element; the sounds created by the performative actions and the expression of inner song. Materials used - whether natural (e.g. clay, ink or water) or artificial (e.g. black paint, cling film, fabric, hypodermic needles) always bear symbolic significance in relation to the human element. She is interested in the transformational potential of both the making and the showing of her work, by means of the symbolic processes she undertakes.

OANA GABRIELA SIMA @sgoana

Sima Oana Gabriela (b. 1999) is a student at UNArte, Faculty of Fine Arts, graphics department. Her artistic journey began through drawing, continuing to try other ways of visual expressions such as clay modeling, painting, collage and recently digital art. The constant source of inspiration in her work comes from her surroundings, the mundaine, wich is transformed and filtered in her art. Through other passions such as cinematography and literature, she interprets elements that gave off a common spirit and a story without words. Colour is the essential medium to show her own vision and feelings. She participated in several group expositions, awarded at the Nation- al Art Competition and won national and international contests.

IVONA GLIBUSIC @ivonaglibusic.art

My name is Ivona and I am a self-taught artist from Vienna, Austria. My works show a great devotion to the expressionism and a love for black lines paired with bold colours. Inspired by Egon Schiele and Roy Liechtenstein, I search for a symbiosis between colours and lines. My art aims to create emotional intimacy and familiarity so that people can identify with my painting on a personal level.

ALY HEGAZY @albateg_art

My name is Aly Hegazy, I am 24 years old artist and currently based in Madrid. I started creating art from a tender age as a way of self-expression and have been captivated by the craft ever since. My studies in Psycholo- gy & Criminology during my undergraduate studies sparked my interest in the unconscious and human devel- opment which I have transcended within my artistic expression. The artworks that I wish to exhibit at the Art Number 23 gallery are part of "The Fleming Diary". I had created the majority of this catalog during the first Covid lockdown back in Madrid in 2020. This collection incorpo- rates a broad range of personal, cultural, and philosophical allusions — using a contemporary style to capture those empathic observations. “The Fleming Diary” is more about expressing a certain self-awareness while being led by a dreamlike instinct while creating.

ANITA F @anitaf.studio

“Are there any other oceans out there in the universe? What mysteries could their deepest bottoms hold and what the creatures inhabiting them could possibly look like?” Anita F is a self-taught artist from Italy, based in London. She works as a graphic facilitator and her art practice is a complementary and self-training activity that helps her bring attention to the present moment, rather than focusing on an end result. By playing with the limits between abstraction and figuration, she explores the potential role of drawing, both as a creative process and a cognitive act. Her work has been exhibited in Paris, Berlin, Rome and London.

XAVI ART @byxaviart

Xavier Laurent Leopold, known artistically as Xavi Art, is a self- taught contemporary artist, exploring abstract portraiture, cubism and illustrative styles.Though Xavier always had a love for art, the lockdown period unearthed his desire and drive, which birthed his artistic passion. Xavier’s pieces draw inspiration from his lived experienc- es, relationships, ideology and worldview. During a time where the world has been forced to slow down, yet social and political unrest rage, Xavier’s art has been a source of personal therapy for him, and escapism for his audiences. Xavier is a multi-asset trader by profession who started his career in the city at the age of 19.
