IVAN TURETSKYY FINE ABSTRACT ART
“In the liquid stream of time our life is a labyrinth. Its course resembles a kaleidoscope of shapes, tones, colours, emotions, feelings and impressions. Becoming aware of the labyrinth is an intuitive creative step that each person makes and that leads to his or her inevitable evolution. Abstract art is a definitive form of expression of the process of knowing oneself and of the world in the infinite space of the liquid time. IVAN TURETSKYY
PASSION
2019 150x100 cm Oil, acrylic on canvas
“Everything consists of elements – sometimes big, sometimes small, and sometimes barely visible. Together they create a vision of the whole. All elements in the artwork matter, they all have meaning, and they are a part of the artist’s imagination. In combination they create the labyrinth in which we all are seeking exists. My aim is to decode some of the messages on the way and to see the light.” IVAN TURETSKYY
FEELS LIKE FLYING
2019 145x128 cm Oil, acrylic on canvas
“Musical tunes inspire my colour compositions. They lead me to the invention of new shapes, rhythms and textures. I try to express music in colour.” IVAN TURETSKYY
PERADVENTURE CALLING 2019 150x85 cm Oil, acrylic on canvas
“Art is a type of worship for me. It allows me to portray the world and the life around us using abstract images and categories. To show the world beyond the physical objects is the main goal of my work.” IVAN TURETSKYY
FROM THE SERIES “PILGRIM". ONLY WIND AND TIME 2019 60x70 cm Oil, acrylic on canvas
“I always see solutions in colour and I always focus on colour. Colour is the basis of all my paintings because colour is above time. I experience the correlation between different rhythms, shapes, textures, and colours as music. Every composition produces a certain tune for me. I therefore greatly enjoy working with the musical themes. IVAN TURETSKYY
