For 39 years, Artexpo New York has earned the distinction of being the world’s largest fine art marketplace. As in past years, we’ll be co-locating with [SOLO] and will offer an expanded [FOTO SOLO] section, featuring collections of fine art photography. Artexpo connects artists, galleries, and publishers with art buyers, art dealers, interior designers, architects, and collectors. It’s an art-anddesign-packed weekend no industry professional should miss. Wondering what makes each show unique? Here’s a bit of info about each:

FOUR DAYS OF FINE ART, EDUCATION & EVENTS

Since 1978, Artexpo New York has been the only fine art trade show to offer industry professionals access to thousands of wholesale works from international artists and publishers under one roof. Over four days, Artexpo will showcase over 1,000 emerging and established artists, innovative artwork, and the latest trends in the art world. It’ll be an extraordinary weekend of fine art, framing, and design in one convenient location—Pier 94, New York City’s hub for art, fashion, and design events.

A TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE Artexpo has always been an extremely well-attended, popular event. Here are some facts and figures from our 2016 show: • Artexpo New York 2016 featured more than 400 exhibitors from around the world, representing thousands of artists. • Nearly 28,000 attendees, including trade buyers, art collectors, and members of the general public, attended the show. • 5,000+ trade buyers, including gallery owners, designers, art consultants, architects, and framers were in attendance. • More than 1,000 art-industry professionals attended the 30 classes, panel discussions, and meet-the-artist events offered at Artexpo. • A state-of-the-art mobile app helped exhibitors and attendees alike navigate the show. • Social media marketing via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Flickr promoted the show around the clock. • A full-time public relations team worked hand-in-hand with exhibitors upon registration to spread the word about their involvement in the show. • A media blitz—including full-page ads and comprehensive editorial, television, and calendar section coverage before the show—helped increase awareness and attendance. We’re anticipating an even bigger event for Artexpo New York 2017 at Pier 94!

EDUCATION, EVENTS & AWARDS Alongside the three shows, the event features the Topics & Trends Educational Series—four days of cutting-edge seminars and events that offer expert perspectives on subjects ranging from art and the economy to small business management, art marketing, social media for artists, and more. There are also several awards given out during the weekend to artists and galleries deemed by the Redwood Media Group team to have gone above and beyond in certain criteria. Honors handed out in 2016 included Best Booth Design, Best New Exhibitor, Best International Exhibitor, and [SOLO] Awards.

To fulfill our marketing efforts, Artexpo partners with a wide range of publications and promotes the show through a widereaching, multiplatform advertising plan that includes online and print advertising, robust email campaigns, 24/7 social media coverage, B2B media, radio, partnership marketing, street banners, and more.

With a combined email subscription list of over 63,000 industry professionals, collectors, artists, and high-end home and business owners, Artexpo New York, along with [SOLO] and [FOTO SOLO], sends out frequent marketing emails that include inspiring artist features, newsworthy show updates, and more to prompt interest in our exhibitors’ artwork and encourage attendance to the show.

We invest in a significant media buy to promote the show and drive trade buyers, collectors, industry insiders, and art enthusiasts to Pier 94 every year. Last year, we generated nearly 50,000 media impressions through AdWords promotional campaigns targeting trade and consumer audiences. We also provide our exhibitors with complimentary VIP tickets, of which we gave out more than 10,000 last year. The publications in which we advertise boast a combined circulation of over 1.5 million, whether in print copies or email newsletters. Featuring collections of fine art photography from some of the world’s foremost abstract, contemporary, and realist photographers, [FOTO SOLO] echoes [SOLO]’s philosophy of supporting the career opportunities of independent artists. [FOTO SOLO] is produced in partnership with industry experts Digital Photo Pro and Outdoor Photographer. Want your work to be showcased within the halls of the world’s largest fine art show? Apply now to ensure early admittance and prime booth placement.

We are now accepting submissions for [FOTO SOLO]. If you’re a fine art photographer and are interested in exhibiting in this year’s show, we would love to see examples of your work. Please email us with two or three images of your work or a website link to your portfolio of artwork that you’d be exhibiting at the show. All applications will be juried by our Exhibitor Committee.
