Katey Berry Furgason’s (Santa Fe, NM) paintings in clay, plaster and metal leaf explore the elegance of form and function in the microscopic world. Her found wood sculptures are initiated by nature and finished in the studio as she scrapes, sands, and surrounds each piece in earthbased mediums. Both series focus on revealing core.
