On Saturday November 27th, from midday until 6.00pm. The Grand Switch-On will take place in the Market Place at 5.15pm.

Meet the Corn Hall Panto cast from Snow White as they mingle with the crowds, enjoy live music to suit all ages and tastes throughout the event. Children can have their faces painted and enjoy Fun Fair festivities at Mere’s Mouth. Ben Langley will be hosting the event and performing on the day.

The Vintage Fire Engine from Bressingham Steam Museum will deliver Santa along Mere Street to Diss Market Place for the 5.15pm switch on. You can also meet Santa during the afternoon in Santa’s Grotto.

Please come along and support Diss’ First Communal outside event of the year – all subject to Covid-19 restrictions on the day.

On Friday December 3rd, the light switch-on is at 6pm, but stalls will be ready from 5.30pm

Craft stalls, sweets, candy floss, burgers and hot dogs, fair rides, hog roast, bar, and lots of other stuff.

Harleston - Saturday December 4th

There will be an all-day market on the Market Place and Exchange Street with an eclectic mix of stalls selling crafts, produce and street food.

In the afternoon we hope Santa will be able to return to his grotto with his sack of presents.

There will be additional activities around town leading up to the Christmas Lights Switch on at 5.30pm.

St John's Church will also be holding their Christmas Bazaar in the Church from 10.00am - 4.00pm.
