Park Radio’s new Station Manager

I'm a Norfolk boy - I grew up a stone's throw from the Waveney Valley in Watton. Currently I live in a little village called Thurlton, halfway between Beccles and Loddon with my two boys Harry and Charlie. I've been engaged to my partner Catherine for the last six years. Like Chris, I started my professional radio career at Radio Broadland in Norwich, presenting my first show when I was 18. In 1998 the station was taken over and I was dispatched to another of the group's stations in Bedford to work on the breakfast show. From there I moved around a bit including a stay in Ipswich at SGR FM, and in Lowestoft at The Beach where I was Head of Music and Commercial Production. I also started my own business (RPC Audio) in 2007, providing audio content, commercials and station imaging to stations all over the world. Our biggest project was providing a series of produced content to BBC Radio 4's Broadcasting House a few years back. I left full-time radio soon after to concentrate on working for myself but radio followed me and Radio Broadland came knocking again and talked me into a weekend show. In 2009 Broadland became Heart and I was lucky enough to be able to stay with the station along with Rob and Chrissie until the Norwich studios and the local programming sadly closed down in 2019. As well as Park Radio, my days are spent running my own business, looking after my boys, and working as a cover presenter for Greatest Hits Radio.
