TECHINICAL REGULATIONS – PART TWO 1) All the responsibility about the artworks belong to the artists themselves. The artists are free to give the responsibility to any of the international shipping companies. 2) The artists may send their artwork making sure that the artwork will be at the biennail area two days before the exhibition. The responsibility for the return of the artworks also belong to the artists. The artists themselves or the company responsible for the shipping and the customs will place the artworks according to the registration number given at the biennail area and retrieve on May 12, 2011 between 9 AM and 6 PM at the end of the biennail.
3) The artworks will be placed on May 2-3, 2011 between 9 AM and 6 PM according to the registration number given. For this process, technical team support which is assigned at the biennail area may be required. 4) The information about the customs, transportation, package, storage and assurance can be receieved from the web page of the biennail. (www.bienalizmir.org)
5) The artists may bring their artwork without being streched over a frame. If the artists wishes, the technical team at the biennail area may handle the process of streching over a frame for a certain cost. The technical team will be ready at the biennail area on May 2-3, 2011 and at the end of the biennail on May 12, 2011. 6) At the biennail area there are sections reserved for different countries. The artists, in accompany with the guide, make their registration and get their registration folders. In this file; the code number for the area that the artwork will be placed, participation certificate for the biennail, gala dinner invitation letter for one person ( If the artist is willing to bring another person to gala dinner, he/she must pay extra 90TL and give information at first application), biennail schedule, guidance services, all the information about İzmir city tour that they may attend and Efes trip (Meryemana) introducing program can be found.
