Monika Bendner’s art is a journey of transformation, where the ordinary metamorphoses into the extraordinary. Born in Berlin, Monika’s deep engagement with art began at a young age, laying a rich foundation for her versatile and ever-evolving artistic career. Her experiences in painting and figurative art were just the beginning, as she embarked on an educational journey that took her through a private art academy in Munich and various courses in Frankfurt, including drawing, etching, and painting at BBK and Kronberg.
Monika’s creative vision is a testament to her unique perspective on the world. Her vivid imagination and boundless creativity allow her to transform concrete objects into abstract, often unconventional images that challenge and enchant the viewer. Her insatiable curiosity for new techniques led her to explore photography, culminating in a diploma in photo design from a distance learning program in Hamburg in 2014.
Characterized by abstract, graphic forms and a minimalist approach, Monika Bendner’s work is a study in creative alchemy. Her passion for exploring and creating across multiple media has always driven her artistic endeavors, and her dedication to objective themes is truly inspiring. I see the world with different eyes. Due to my imagination and creativity, I transform concrete objects into abstract objects, which is how my sometimes unusual pictures come about. In order to arrive at an appropriate image statement, I work in cycles.

“My technique consists of abstract, creative photography combined with painting, paper cutting, foils, and light sources and themes from everyday life. I approach my design process with an open mind and let myself be driven by my imagination and inexhaustible wealth of ideas.”

“I approach my design process with an open mind and let myself be driven by my imagination and inexhaustible wealth of ideas. To do this, I also go into my inner world and LET IT HAPPEN, which makes me very happy when I see the result afterward when I am back in the real world.”

“I discovered this in my childhood. My imagination has permanently changed real objects.”

“My message: I would manage to make the audience understand my artistic expression.”

“Since I had always turned everything into art, later, when I no longer had so many family responsibilities to fulfill, I took many different art courses to learn and to give my imagination a foothold.”
