Åry has produced high quality products in our own factory in Sweden since 1952. What began as a small manufacturing industry has now developed into a successful interior design company. Our strength is a long tradition of genuine craftsmanship, our everyday passion for natural materials and sustainable,functional objects made by hand. Located in the deep Swedish forests, our most prominent source of inspiration is nature. Both when selecting materials and designing our products.

The V&A (Victoria and Albert Museum) is the world’s leading museum of art, design and performance. Sara Woodrow, Swedish designer, artist and illustrator. She is a contemporary designer who dares to go her own way and enjoys working with different techniques. For her, it has always been important that her motifs convey a feeling or story.
Sara has illustrated for one of the world’s largest haute couture fashion houses, Dior, where she illustrated fashion portraits of some 30 guests for the Dior Cruise 2020 show in Marrakech. For Kosta Boda, she has illustrated motifs for various glasses - such as wine glasses and champagne glasses. Her work is characterised by a strong sense of trend and presence in time, so it is no wonder that she is now a well-known name among many young design enthusiasts.

”It is often in the slow meditative drawing process that the unexpected happens and an idea, or a dream takes form on the paper. ”Danish illustrator and designer Sofie Børsting is based in Copenhagen and graduated from the Danish Design School in 2003. After many years of working in the design industry she finally followed her dream and created an illustrated line of products in 2011. They quickly took off, and are now sold in some of the finest designshops in Scandinavia and around the world.
The very detailed artwork is created from a combination of carefully hand drawn botanical elements, collage and gouache.

Paula Pappenheim is the founder and designer of Pappenpop, a design studio in Madrid, Spain. She comes from an artistic background and has studied fine arts and graphic design.
Paula has a Master in surface pattern design and her inspiration comes from architecture, different cultures as well as the spirit of different, interesting places. The nature is also a great source of inspiration where mathematics is perfectly hidden under nature´s quiet chaos and harmony, the way they come together is where art and nature join and come to life.
The design by Pappenpop is internationally represented and selected to elevate a wide range of interior design products such as home textiles, porcelains and wall papers.

ULRICA HYDMAN VALLIEN
Stockholm native Ulrica was brought up in an artistic family and was schooled at the national College of Art, Craft and Design, as well as scholarship programs in the U.S. and Mexico. She joined Kosta Boda in 1972 and has been awarded majors scholarships and prizes, exhibited in museums and shows worldwide, and has lectured at the Bildwerk in Germany and at the famous Pilchuck Glass Center school in Washington state.
Ulrica’s unmistakable designs have decorated both cell-phones as well as airplane tails. Through her career she has used different forms of expressions but has always had an entirely personal range of metaphorical language, filled with power, drama, humour and energy.

Tina is a graphic and pattern designer, she has a bachelor degree from Central Saint Martins, London. After she graduated she moved to Stockholm to set up her own studio and to study graphic design and illustration at University College of Arts, Crafts and Design (Konstfack). Tina has since then worked with a variety of clients both in Sweden and abroad. Her playful illustrations and surface patterns for products or fabrics are mostly designed for the home decoration market but she also does editorial work and book covers.
Her source of inspiration is her collection of vinyl records, her grandmother’s collection of Finnish textiles and her son Måns.
