Introduction My client, Linkin Park is an American Rock Band. This band is formed in 1996. His problem is to make his band popular like the other band that has reach to the top. His band has already reached to the top only in his country. He wants it more than just to know from his country.
So as I heard this story from my client, in this 8 weeks, I will design and create a band promotion/advertisement in a form of digital. I will use the design cycle (investigation, design, plan, create, and evaluation) to make a perfect result and satisfaction for my client. Before I create my product, I must know his problem more detail to know What I have to do. I’ll do my best on making this advertisement during the 8 weeks.

Yes I have been promoting my band throughout the world but not many only some of the countries like Australia, Hawaii, and Japan. But I wanted to promote my band throughout North America so it would make my band much more popular.

•
Yes. My band doesn’t produce enough income because the income is only from the city that only known my band a lot. There are lots of other issues that I need to take care of beside my income such as the delivery of my advertisement or an advertisement man that should be handling the advertisement.

•
I don’t care about how its look like of the advertisement as long as it makes my band reach to the top no matter what it takes. As long you make it interesting to make people interact.

Our band has been going well throughout the whole 5 years. We get enough income from the band but we want more by spreading our information to other countries.

Well, we have tried lots of ways to promote our band to the top such as promoting one or two of our best songs, copies, of our best albums, and many ways, but still it didn’t make people to be interest in it.

He promoted his band by many ways such as promoting his best songs, solid copies of their albums and etc. He has been running his band for five years and he received a little income for their band. Case Study Summary
• From my observation of the case study, I will make 2 digitals
advertisement (Email advertisement and website) and 1 non-digital advertisement (newspaper). I will make them all interesting and simple so people wouldn’t be bored. The cost of making these kind of advertisements aren’t expensive only the newspaper article. Design Brief • I will make an advertisement for my client Linkin Park to make

Summary of investigation •
The interview part was done with my client the Linkin Park band. They have gave me a specific information about his band and how do they want the advertisement look like. They also have given me information about why they want to make an advertisement for their band.

I also have investigating its software of what software I’m going to use for making the band advertisement and I’lll be using iMovie for making the video broadcast and using either iWeb or pages to make the web to advertise it.

By using the case study from the 3 different types, it gives me an idea to create the design which includes all the specification like the cost, safety, Function, cost, and other specification part.

By researching the impacts of the environment and the society, it gives me an idea to help me to think about the society, what would it be if I advertise.

On the specification points could help me for the guidance making the band advertisement which is convenient or not. The test part could be my additional guidance to make sure for choosing the right final design to advertise.

Summary of the designs •
Design 1- This design is very simple that doesn’t need a lot of outcome from the band. This design is very usual for advertising band because we could see them almost every time. People wouldn’t get easily to be bored because they like when it’s fantastic and enough info to understand.

Design 2 - This advertisement provides more information than the others. It is printed out because people will be easy to carry any where around them and take them and show them to their friends or family. This design might be the perfect way to advertise the band faster.

Design 3 - It doesn’t need any thing that could harm the environment. It just need a software to create it and internet to see the website. This is the usual website that people see and use it. It’s simple, and decorated.

Design 4 - It’s another design, which is almost the same as design number 3. This one is a bit complicated and more decorated, so people would might be more interesting. The design provides an essential information about the band but it still needs an internet to open it.

Design 5 - This one is a video. This one focus on the interviewing because this is a new method of advertising the band by using interviewing, so people wouldn’t get easily bored of the video. At the end of it, it shows one song that people would might be interested in.

Design 6 - This is also a video but this one focus on the band information. It’s just an old method by putting altogether. It has lots of songs, so people might be more interested because they would think that this band has the spirit of music.

For today, I have started the creation stage, which is making my website. I have done quite a lot. Today, I have choose my design what will it look like and arrange the pages that I would like to make for my post. I also did my first page, which is the home page. But before that, I searched on the internet to find some pictures to put into the home page. It;s very hard to access youtube in school, so I should find the videos at home. I did a bit on making the biography, but only short. So, for my next goal is that I should have finished the biography page and move on to the next one.

For today, I have finished making another page, which is the biography. I have put some pictures into it, which describes what are the members in the band and to show how cool the band is. Evaluating my performance at Each Stage of the Design Cycle •
Investigation: There are some parts that I should improve more. One of those is making the summary of the investigation. I should have put more detail, coherent, and specific description about the whole thing. This should have done on some other parts.

Design: A brief description/explanation about every design that I have made. The design of it should be more specific on the drawing; in order to make a clear design.
•
Plan: I should have put comprehensible picture rather putting screenshot. I should have display a brief description on a software; this would be the key for people to be able to specified it and knowledge.
•
Create: The final product is quite different than I expected. I had some difficulties and casualties on creating the website. I should have research the software more; in order to understand using the software and create a good website.

Evaluate: The evaluation part is the most important because of to reflect what you have done and improved in some mistakes that I have made. The reflection process is very essential and it’s not necessary difficult.

Software: I have made the website which that be my project. The final product didn’t look good as I expected before. I search on the internet to check whether is the correct form for creating this project.

Time: I could finish this product in no time. The time actually is 8 weeks but I have some difficulties and casualties during the 8 weeks, so we have to extend a bit.

Successful Points of Product â&#x20AC;˘ Base on my opinion, during the project I have found no
casualties and difficulties except for inconvenience of time wasting time on some specific part. One of the evidences is wasting time on making the design. It takes too much time on it and some other specific parts. It should have given a specific time to do on a specific part in order not to waste time and have some more time to do on other specific part.

Least Successful Points of product • Base on my opinion, what I did least is when I
was at the creation stage. I have some doubt during making the product. During that time, I have no skill at all of using my IT because I’m still new using this kind of software and I still need to adapt of this kind of IT because of it’s quite different than my previous school. I expect to make the best website; what I mean is not accordingly in the software. I want to try some new stuff.

Client peer to peer • I have asked my client and he’s satisfied with it but he’s only satisfied with the product that is finished. He didn’t really appreciate with the quality of the product. He said, “I’m happy the product is finally finished but I didn’t really satisfied with the design and organization of the website.” That’s really pretty hard for me because I’m still a newbie using this kind of software. For next time, I should have improve all of my skill.
