Pre-Kindergarten 3 & Pre-Kindergarten 4
My name is Victoria Camps, and my husband and I moved to Mumbai from Argentina a year and a half ago. I have 16 years of experience in finance, all within the same company. Currently, I hold the position of Finance Director.
My husband, Joaquin, and I relocated to Mumbai with our two sons. Mateo is starting Grade 1, while Marcos is entering Pre-K 4.
Having settled into Mumbai life, I am looking forward to strengthening connections with existing ASB families and supporting newcomers as they transition into this community.
Hi, my name is Gayatri. My son Neil has been at ASB since Pre-K 3 and is now a Kindergartener! It’s been a wonderful ride; my husband Saurabh and I are constantly amazed by the kindness and collaborative spirit of the ASB community.
After several years working in financial communications in Australia, the US, and India, I pivoted to starting my own company last year.
In the 2024-25 academic year, I look forward to helping new families settle into ASB life. I’m also excited to reconnect with returning families and teaching teams so we can celebrate another fantastic year together.
My name is Nishtha. My husband, Anshum, and I moved to Mumbai 2 years ago from New York. I work in private equity and I have spent the last 10 years of my corporate career at investment banks and private equity funds across New York, London and Mumbai. We have 2 children, Kabir is in Grade 1 and Yuvraj is in Pre-K.
Our time at ASB has just been wonderful and we have immensely benefited from the guidance, love and true friendships the community has bestowed upon our family. We have grown so much in the last year and finally feel we are home!
As a GLR I am excited to welcome both new and returning parents. I look forward to getting to know you and your families and making this year truly memorable!
My name is Shevon, and I’m an American from Philadelphia. I moved to Mumbai with my husband in 2012. Our son Brandon is in grade 2 this year, and I’m happy to continue as a grade-level representative. Our family joined ASB in 2022, and we’ve had a wonderful experience with the school so far. I’m looking forward to meeting all the grade 2 families and helping the new families make a smooth transition into ASB and Mumbai.
Hello, my name is Pooja! I moved to Mumbai from California 2 years ago with my husband, Jitesh, and my two daughters, Mira and Sairah. Mira is in Grade 3, and Sairah is still in play school. I spent most of my professional life in the US consulting and as a brand marketer for healthcare companies.
It has been a wonderful experience so far at ASB, and the teachers, the community, and the culture here have played a pivotal role in making our transition to India seamless. Over the past two years, we have made some beautiful friendships and participated in some lovely experiences as a family!
As we enter the next academic year, I am so excited to foster some deeper connections with existing ASB families and help new families transition into this new phase of their lives. I look forward to another year of growth at ASB!
Hi! My name is Isabel. I am a professional Spanish-language speech therapist. Other than Mumbai, my family and I have also called home Canada, the United States, Mexico, Ecuador, and Colombia.
Three of our four children, Mauricio, Daniel, and Natalia, attend ASB, and we couldn’t be more excited to be part of this amazing school.
Having arrived mid-term at different schools ourselves, I understand how difficult the transition can be. I look forward to welcoming all the new and returning families to Grade 4 and our ASB community!
As a resident of Mumbai for many years, I’m grateful to witness our family flourish in ASB’s warm embrace for the past three years. Seeing our children thrive in this nurturing environment is a constant source of joy.
This year, as I serve as a GLR for the ASB community, my goal is to foster connections and support new families as they settle into Mumbai, transforming it from a new city into a cherished home. My background spans education, agriculture, and Ayurveda.
My name is Natasha Pinto. After calling Melbourne, Australia, home for the last two decades, my family and I moved across several countries in the Pacific and Asia before returning to our homeland, India. This move is a wonderful opportunity for our only child, Ronan, who is in Grade 6, to connect with his roots and traditions.
I am excited about my role as a Grade Level Representative. I look forward to supporting and meeting new parents and helping them settle into a new country if this is their first time doing so – something I have personally experienced five times! I am eager to learn from the diverse cultures and backgrounds within our community and from ASB on aspects of motherhood to our 11-year-old and on ways to create lasting bonds.
My name is Penny Patel, and I am from Mumbai. My elder daughter Alaina is in Grade 7 for which I am the new GLR. My younger daughter, Azaia, is in Grade 3.
I own and run an Art Gallery in South Bombay. Looking forward to being part of the ASB Team and supporting families’ transition into Mumbai and ASB.
My name is Renny Modi. My husband Ruchir and I moved to Mumbai 8 years back and we have 2 children in ASB. Our daughter Rianna who started in KG and is now in grade 8 and our son Ryan who started in Pre-K 3 now in Grade 3. We have been at ASB for 8 years and it’s been an amazing experience watching our children grow.
I am excited to continue to support the ASB community. As a GLR for Grade 8, I am looking forward to building a stronger parent-teacher partnership as well as a stronger sense of community and connection.
My name is Manisha Bansal. My husband, Vivek, and I moved back to Mumbai a while ago. We have been in ASB for 5 years now and have 2 kids at ASB, Saket & Ria. Saket graduated in 2024, and Ria is a grade 9 student.
I am a Chartered Accountant with diverse experience, from running my own ventures to consulting for a student loan NBFC.
As we begin the new academic year, I am eager to collaborate with both teachers and parents to ensure a seamless and engaging transition for students moving from middle school to high school. Additionally, I look forward to assisting new families as they join ASB, helping them settle in and become integral members of our vibrant community.
My name is Shilpa Bhagat. My husband Karan and I decided to move our twins Kush and Kyra (currently in grade 10) to ASB, and it has possibly been one of our best decisions ever.
ASB is not just an institution, it is an extended home where the support system and the emotional quotient of its members are so high that the child gets nurtured and prepared for life, not just as a student but as a human.
I have been part of the PCA and MS GLR and I’m excited once again to be an active part of this amazing community.
My name is Laila Kizilbash. I am the mother of Yahn Kizilbash, who is in Grade 11.
Though this is my second year as a parent at ASB, my connection with ASB goes way back to 1995, when I joined as a teaching assistant and librarian substitute. I love music, dance, crafts, yoga, traveling, and meeting people.
I look forward to being a grade level representative and supporting the ASB Community. Look forward to your support and to an amazing year ahead.
Hello, my name is Swati Barve, and my boys have been at ASB since 2017. Rahul graduated in 2023 from ASB, and my twins Arjun and Kabir will be in grade 12. I have been a GLR for the last few years and have really enjoyed the role.
Looking forward to more connections, a sense of community, and fun with the Grade 12 parent community.
We inspire all of our students to continuous inquiry, empowering them with the skills, courage, optimism, and integrity to pursue their dreams and enhance the lives of others.
