Sustainability becomes more and more important. It has become an increasingly crucial factor in purchasing decisions. Therefore, Royal Leerdam (part of Leerdam Crisal Glass) has been crafting a new sustainable agenda.

Recycling has always been at the heart of our business. We aim to produce our 100% recyclable glass products with zero impact on the environment, assuring that the next generations are able to live in a better world. We do this by applying sustainable processes throughout the organization and supporting social, economic and cultural progress in the communities where we live and work.

By being a socially responsible corporate organization, we drive sustainability efforts together with our stakeholders and other companies to address the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

• We collect and re-use the glass in our factories so that each new glass starts with 20% to 50% of pre-consumer recycled glass.

• Our packaging material is made of 80% to 95% recycled cardboard.

What our symbols mean

In order to give our consumers and customers the best information about our products we created symbols which can be interpreted easily. These symbols inform you about the origin, special characteristics, usage, warnings and design of the glass. You can come across these symbols on our packaging and product information. In this catalogue we will only show symbols near our products that are more specific and of more importance for you as buyer. Below you can find all symbols with a short explanation.

Royal Leerdam offers stemware ranges that span across three price points: basic, mid-level and premium. Ranging from basic shapes to more complex ones, there is always a design that fits the customers taste, style and budget.

Design Collection

The Design Collection is all about distinctive shapes. Each design looks elegant and has its own characteristic appeal. From square to round or tulip shaped designs, every range has its own style and charm. They are the perfect choice for the trendsetting consumer who is looking for the next generation of contemporary designs.

Discover the design series Maipo, Piceno, Yarra, Bairrada, Salta, Corbières and Leyda. The later Leyda series is our latest development, responding to the trend of stemware with a modern flat bottom base.

Impossible to miss is the distinctive flat bottom base of the Leyda series, a definitive eyecatcher. The more you see it, the more you love it. The flat base of the bowl gives the wine a large surface area in which to breathe, while the tapered shape of the bowl helps concentrate the aromas of a wine.

Yarra DESIGN COLLECTION

One of the later additions to the Design collection is the new Yarra range. These beautiful wine glasses, with a modern straight bowl, fit perfectly in the minimalistic design trend. The thin 6mm stem makes the glass very elegant, but still durable. The range comes in three different shapes: white win (32cl), red wine (41cl) and a flute (21cl).

Corbières

While we live in a world that becomes more complicated every day, consumers look for simpler designs. We have selected Corbières as a new standard in contemporary, minimalistic and energetic design for an everyday winner wine glass. Its modern appeal is embraced by many consumers worldwide.

When we introduced Aristo in 2003, its angled shape quickly became a best-seller around the world, which it still is today. With Maipo we created a new design that is believed to be the next generation angular shape. It has an even higher angled bowl and a slim 6 mm stem for an extra touch of both modern and luxury design. For all consumers who are looking for a complete set of wine glasses, we developed a combination box, containing six wine glasses of 47cl and six wine glasses of 34cl.

Piceno

Piceno has one of our tallest and most slender designs of the Royal Leerdam collection. The slim 6 mm stem looks very elegant. The tall bowls with larger capacities make the glasses ideal for swirling your wine. The glasses won’t take too much storage space. It is the perfect glass for the modern urban consumer. For all the consumers who are looking for a set of wine glasses, we have developed a combination box, containing six wine glasses of 54cl and six wine glasses of 40cl.

Salta DESIGN COLLECTION

The tulip-shaped design is a must-have for those who wish to offer a complete range of wine glasses.
