Charity Spotlight
The Veterans Guest House provides United States military service veterans and their families temporary overnight accommodations when receiving treatment at a medical facilityintheReno-Sparksarea.
The Veterans Guest House has a long history as the best-kept secret in Reno. The “Home Away from Home” is the only facility of its kind in the country serving U.S. military veterans in the way it is done at the Veterans Guest House. The House is privately funded and receivesnogovernment fundingfor itsoperations.
With the support from generous donors, The Veterans Guest House is able to provide the comforts of “A Home Away From Home” when a veteran or family member is undergoing medical treatment. This helps ease their burden that comes with the illness of a loved one. No matter the size of the donation, the cumulative impact of the gifts you give makes a profound difference.
