Eric Scheetz, PE, CFM

Eric Scheetz, PE, CFM is the Project Manager for the Vista Narrows Engineering Project for the Truckee River Flood Management Authority (TRFMA). He has over 17 years of experience in Heavy Civil Projects including ReTRAC, work in Port of LA and Long Beach, LAX, and the LA Cathedr al to name a few. Most of those projects were with AECOM. He has also worked for Kiewit and Morley doing construction management and Wood Rodgers doing land development in the Reno Tahoe Area as well as being Resident Engineer for levee construction outside of Sacramento. Eric is a graduate of USC for both his undergr aduate and Masters in Civil Engineering. Prior to becoming an Engineer, Eric worked in construction building resid ential spec homes in the Truckee‐Tahoe area for 10 years. Outside of work, Eric remodels homes and helps provide housing to the disadvantaged.

Presenter Summary

Brian Janes, PE

Brian Janes is Atkins’ Reno office leader. He has 22 years of water resources experience in drainage design, storm drain and sewer master planning, regional and local watershed analy sis, and hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling. He has worked at Atkins’ Reno office for the last 14 years where he is currently a Project Director for Atkins’ Public and Private business unit. He has worked on many local and regional projects including NDOT’s Pr oject Neon, RTC’s Southeast Connector, Maryland’s Pur ple Line light rail, and several master plans for the City of Sparks and Carson City. Brian is currently the Design Team Project Manager for the Vista Nar rows project and graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1997.
