Meet our speakers Beagle, John

Co-founder and Chemical Practice Director, Grace Matthews Inc.

John L. Beagle, a co-founder of Grace Matthews, has consulted with clients since 1991. John leads the Grace Matthews chemical practice. Prior to Grace Matthews, John was a research engineer in Digital Equipment Corporation’s Advanced Semiconductor Development group, which was subsequently acquired by Intel. John was part of the R&D effort at Digital that developed the patented Alpha chip technology. John received his B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering and his M.B.A. from the Johnson Graduate School of Management, both at Cornell University. John has served as a director for Northern Labs, Inc., PKWARE, Inc., the Cornell Club of Wisconsin, and the Girl Scouts of Milwaukee. He is a member of the Commercial Development and Marketing Association and the American Chemical Society, and has served as an advisor to the Czech Ore Research Institute (Prague, Czech Republic) on technology transfer issues.

Beaulieu, Brian

Principal and CEO, Institute for Trends Research

Brian Beaulieu has been an economist with ITR Economics™ since 1982, serving as a principal and it’s CEO since 1987. At ITR Economics™, his focus is research into using business cycle analysis and forecasts to increase business profits. He is co-author of “Make Your Move”, a book on how to increase profits through business cycle changes. Mr. Beaulieu is Chief Economist for Vistage International; a global organization comprised of over 14,000 CEO’s and has an active consulting practice. He is the winner of the 2008 Speaker Impact of the Year Award from Vistage International. Cam Marston is the leading expert on the impact of generational characteristics and differences on the workplace and the marketplace. As an author, columnist, blogger, and lecturer, he imparts a clear understanding of how generational demographics are changing the landscape of business. Marston and his firm, Generational Insights, have provided research and consultation on generational issues to hundreds of companies and professional groups, ranging from small businesses to multinational corporations, as well as major professional associations, for over 15 years. He is an ongoing instructor at Belmont University. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Tulane University.

Dan Murad is the CEO and President of The ChemQuest Group, Inc. He joined ChemQuest in 1996 from the Rohm & Haas Company where he was Director, Industrial Coatings, and Director of R&H’s Corporate Marketing Board. His career experiences range from technical positions to Director of Marketing to Executive General Management. Mr. Murad serves on many professional and industry organizations and committees including the NPCA, ASC, FEICA, AFERA and others. He is past Founder and Chairman of the High Barrier Coatings Committee-TAPPI, and Founder and Advisory Board Director of ASC’s “Building the Industry Program,” a coalition of greater than 40 leading companies teamed to grow the industry against mechanical fasteners. His particular strengths lie in enhancing EBITDA through operational efficiencies, strategic disciplines, and value creation on behalf of clients. He holds degrees from Wabash College (B.S. in chemistry) and William & Mary (MBA).
