THE BIZ-BUZZ ON BEAUTY

With an increase in the return to brick and mortar stores, Target introduced a partnership with Ulta to test shop-in-shops that offer a wider range of luxury cosmetics in a convenient one-stop atmosphere. The result? Customers loved it! Target didn’t just see a rise in loyal shoppers, they noted an increase in new customers who were discovering Target through their love of Ulta and the Beauty space.

Beauty is no longer confined to stand-alone and specialty cosmetic stores. Best Buy, a brand known for technology and electronics, decided to bring in skincare tools and gadgets in late 2022. With growth in Beauty occurring year over year, this big-box retailer has gained new customers and, has since added nearly 100 skincare devices available online and in stores.
