Our range of non-alcoholic drinks will bring on the (hangover-free) party! Try these simple mocktail ideas using Asda Extra Special Non Alcoholic Premium Botanical Drink and Asda Extra Special Non Alcoholic Rhubarb & Ginger Flavour Botanical Drink (both £10/70cl).

COOL AS... Decorate the inside of a glass with a cucumber ribbon. Add ice cubes and pour in a measure of Premium Botanical Drink, and a dessert spoon of elderflower cordial. Add a big squeeze of lime juice, some soda and a slice of cucumber, or a lime wedge, to garnish. KIWI CORKER Drop 1tsp honey in a glass and add a measure of the Premium Botanical Drink – stir well. Crash in a handful of ice, fill with fizzy water and stir again. Squeeze the juice from a kiwi fruit and add – leave seeds in but not flesh – and garnish with a slice of kiwi fruit. GINGER FIZZ Cool a glass and add crushed ice. Next, add a measure of the Rhubarb & Ginger Flavour Botanical Drink, and then a good splash of non-alcoholic ginger ale or beer. Ginger root

Fresh ginger is one of the most versatile of flavourings. We used it in our Thai-style salmon tray bake on page 18. Don’t waste that little nub you have left over. Slices can be used in ginger tea (just infuse for 5 minutes in boiling water with lemon and honey), and a little pickled ginger can make a tasty accompaniment to sushi.
