Bhutan
do you know?
Poverty - Almost a quarter of the population in Bhutan lives under the poverty line. Migrant children - The Bhutanese nationality is very difficult to acquire, as it requires the two parents to be Bhutanese. Thus, many children that are born and live in Bhutan are not nationals. The right to education - more than one in ten children are not educated. AIDS - The number of people infected with HIV in Bhutan is increasing. Child Labour - close to one out of every five children are required to work to support their families in Bhutan. Sexual exploitation - Sexual exploitation of children is equally very alarming in this country. Violence against children - Physical abusive punishment is not explicitly restricted in Bhutan. Thus, many children are already victims of poor treatment in the context of family life as well as in school.
For Children Rallies, programs and camps to encourage, equip and empower them to become men and women of God and see them filled with the Holy Spirit.
Yes, I want to invest in the mission trips to Sri Lanka, India, Nepal, Bhutan and see thousands come to know Christ.

Mission Trips 2013 Sri Lanka - August India - September Nepal - October Bhutan - November
Dear Friends and Family, I hope that this le er finds you all healthy and doing well. I am wri ng because I want to share with you a challenging ministry opportunity God has presented to me. During August – November, I will be going to Sri Lanka, India, Nepal & Bhutan for a mission trip. While in these countries, we will be doing various children's evangelism programs and children's teacher training programs. As I am sure, you know this will be an exci ng and trying trip, and I need your support to go. The first and most important way you can help me is through prayer. I am looking for people who will commit to pray for me both now and during my trip. The power of prayer is cri cal to prepare people's hearts and “open the doors” before we leave. Second I am asking you to help financially. This trip is going to cost $4000 for me to go and my financial deadlines are quickly approaching. Any amount that you can give would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to support me in this amazing opportunity, please send any contribu on directly to me at L RM. Please make all checks to L RM. Whatever amount you give is also fully taxdeductable and you will receive a receipt for it at the end of the year. Thank you again for all of your help. I will look forward to being able to share with each of you my mission trip experinces. God bless you, Asela Jayarathne
