CHAIRMANS WELCOME Good afternoon and welcome to today’s final league game of the season against our visitors South Normanton FC and may I extend a warm welcome to the players, officials and spectators of South Normanton FC and hope that we all enjoy a good match. Todays game gives the players the opportunity to impress Steve and Lee ahead of next weeks League Cup Final against Dunkirk in order to cement their place in the squad. This Season has had some fantastic memories and experiences again and I am sure that you will all have your own individual memories and it is nice that the final game of the Season will be a chance for some silverware next Saturday and fingers crossed the players bring it home. The memory that will stand out for me this Season is the FA Cup visit and game against Ilkeston Town FC. The lead up on the Friday was a remarkable day for all involved in the Club and was a memorable experience for all concerned. The actual game day itself showed that, as a club, we can provide a fantastic experience for over 800 spectators and this was testament to the organisation and volunteers on the day and my thanks, as always goes to them. The Club is not just about the first team but all roads lead to it and like the 1st team we are also proud to celebrate the success of all of our teams who have represented the club this season and a huge thanks for the time and commitment our Development Coaches have given to their respective teams and we have a selection of teams that have also reached Cup Finals and these being the Under 11’s, 15’s, 16’s and Sunday Youth 18’s, along with possible league winners with the 15’s who could be crowned Champions today. The volunteers have, yet again, worked tirelessly throughout this Season on behalf of the whole Club. As we know the club cannot survive without these volunteers and it is often not recognised in the amount of time they all give to the Club and my express thanks goes to you all for the commitment you afford to the club. There are so many areas of the club where we are grateful for peoples own time and commitment and I will be recognising these in our annual awards day on Saturday 20th May. May I take this opportunity to thank all of our loyal and growing number of Supporters too as your attendance has played a huge part in creating a great atmosphere at both Home and Away matches and I hope that this Season we maintain the Leagues highest attended club for a second season running so thank you all for your continued support it really does mean a lot to the players and officials. The Club Management Team of Steve and Lee have settled in really well at the club and with the players and whilst the league finish isn’t what I targeted them to achieve it still remains a great platform to build on for next Season and I am sure it has taught Steve and Lee alot. The league position really was irrelevant at the stage they joined as it was more about bringing together the football management structure and galvanising the players and I am pleased that this has made significant progress since they joined us. The important this for me has always been about achieving a sustainable club and that we have players at the club who want to be here and who know their role in the structure of their respective teams. I now feel at the end of this Season, that we are very close to achieving this and with a couple of additions for next Season I am sure that Steve, Lee, Marc, Russ and Alex will be a step closer to having some great, young, home grown players at the club and who are supported by more experienced Senior players that want to play for the club and help move us forward. May I finally take this opportunity to thank all of our Sponsors who have supported the Club again this Season and the interest continues to grow each year. Without your involvement we would not be able to move forward as we have and in the manner of which we have so I thank you all for your continued support and hope to see you at the awards day on the 20th May. All that remains is to hope we all enjoy the final game of this very long Season and hope to see as many of you at Anstey Nomads next Saturday supporting the players as we embark on the chance of silverware to finish off a very encouraging Season. FIRST TEAM UPDATE Managers Talk Good afternoon and welcome to the NFU Sports Ground for this afternoon’s league game against South Normanton Athletic FC. We would like to welcome all those connected with South Normanton and hope you have a safe journey home. Last Saturday saw us play Radcliffe Olympic, drawing 2-2 with our goals coming from Rookie and Ryan Pearce. A decent point away from home and the lads battled well. With today’s game being the last home game of the season we would love to finish off on a win and get us in confident mood going into next weekend’s cup final. South Normanton are pushing West Bridgford all the way for the league title. I took a look back at my programme notes that I produced the last time we should have played South Normanton (before the game got postponed) and I stated back then a few months ago that I felt South Normanton would go on and win this league this season. They have developed into a strong group as a team over the last few seasons and each season Tommy and his staff have managed to keep the majority of the squad with just one or two new additions each year to keep that improvement going. All credit to them and I wish them all the best in the future as I have a lot of time and respect for Tommy and his team. With that said and with Tommy knowing me well enough, he and his team will know they will have to be at their best today to take maximum points off us. We will also have to be at our best too as we aim to finish the league campaign on a high and to keep us in and around the top 10 in the league and to go into the cup final next Saturday full of confidence. Since me and Lee arrived in November (with the team only having 20 points on the board and languishing in the bottom six in the table) we have steadily climbed up the league (averaging around 2 pts a game) and got to a cup final. “For me that is something to be proud about” and it puts us in good stead to push on further next season. We want to play a certain type and brand of football that the supporters will enjoy also knowing that we will mix it up as and when required in certain games tactically. Myself, Lee and the Chairman have recently held a meeting to discuss plans for next season which has gone very well and we are all looking forward to move the club forward even further next season. To the players who have been fantastic. They have listened to our instructions and carried them out and I know they have enjoyed it and the way we want the game played. To our supporters, it has been very pleasing to see more of you attend the recent matches, our attendance has increased by 30 % and your support has been great and we would like to say thank you as this really helps the lads. On to the cup final next Saturday, we hope to see as many of you as possible to roar on the team and hopefully returning to the NFU Sports Ground with the Cup. Thanks and enjoy the game Steve Titterton & Lee Attenborough First Team Management FIRST TEAM UPDATE SPONSORED BY

SEASON REVIEW 2016/2017

The 2016/2017 season was Ashby Ivanhoe’s third season competing in the East Midlands Counties League and following the previous season’s third place finish hopes were high of another title challenge and promotion push. History would also be made during the season as Ashby had qualified for the FA Cup for the first time in the club’s history. AUGUST The season started on Saturday 6th August on a hot summer’s afternoon and saw Ashby make their eagerly awaited debut in the world’s most famous club competition, The FA Cup. They welcomed Midland Football League side Quorn AFC to the NFU Sports Ground for the Extra Preliminary Round tie and in front of a crowd of 328 they put in a superb performance to make a winning start to the season with a 4-3 victory. Ashby took an early lead through Luke Thorogood before Quorn quickly levelled. The visitors then went in at the break ahead via the penalty spot. The second half saw Ashby level shortly after the restart through Danny Quinn only for Quorn to edge in front again. Ashby then scored twice in quick succession just after the hour mark through Sam Johnson and James Purslow to edge through to the next round. The opening league game of the season was played the following midweek with a trip to Borrowash Victoria and it was another high scoring game. Ashby had fallen behind early on before Kerr Horn levelled the scores before the break. Quick fire goals inside the first ten minutes of the second half from Danny Quinn and a second for Horn put Ashby in control at 3-1 up. The match then took a dramatic twist as three goals for Borrowash in a 17 minute spell turned the game around to give them the lead only for a 93rd minute equaliser from Nick Sewell earned a share of the points. The first home league game of the season saw a visit from newly promoted West Bridgford and following a tight opening half hour the floodgates opened following a red card for an Ashby defender and the now league leaders ran out comfortable 5-0 winners. vs South Normanton Athletic | Saturday 29th April 2017 | www.ashbyivanhoefc.com

SEASON REVIEW 2016/2017 Ashby then turned their attentions away from league action and back to the Emirates FA Cup and a Preliminary Round tie at Loughborough Dynamo of the Northern League Division One South. Ashby took a large following to the game and they were rewarded as a dominant display against their opponents, two steps higher in the non-league pyramid, saw them to a 3-1 victory. Luke Thorogood gave them a first half lead and in the first twenty minutes of the second half Sam Johnson and Elliott Bott had increased the lead before the home side headed home a consolation in injury time. The first league victory of the season soon followed the following midweek when another fine performance saw visitors Graham Street Prims defeated 6-0. Danny Quinn led the way with a hat-trick with further strikes from Jack Ryder, Royce Turville and Luke Thorogood. The end of the month saw a Bank Holiday weekend double header on the Saturday and Monday. First up was a trip to Dunkirk who had suffered relegation at the end of last season and a close game saw Ashby on the wrong end of a 3-2 scoreline with Danny Quinn and Royce Turville netting the goals. Bank Holiday Monday saw a local derby against Ellistown & Ibstock United who had made a poor start to the season and sat bottom of the table, a spot they have remained in all season. Despite having plenty of efforts in the first half it remained goalless with the deadlock finally being broken on 56 minutes through Kerr Horn. Goals from Luke Thorogood, substitute Nick Sewell put Ashby 3-0 up before a late penalty for the visitors and two goals from Luke Tozer completed the scoring. SEPTEMBER Following the Ellistown match attention turned back to the FA Cup journey that Ashby were on and it got even better on Friday 2nd September when the FA Cup trophy itself made its way to the town where club officials paraded the trophy around the various sponsors of the club after which a party atmosphere at the NFU Sports Ground saw players and spectators getting the chance to have a photo taken with the most famous trophy in world football while Central News broadcast their sports bulletin live from the ground along with interviews with club chairman Stuart Bonser and captain Sam Johnson. The party atmosphere continued on the Saturday where a record 693 people turned out despite wet and windy conditions to witness Ashby’s biggest ever match in the club’s 68 year history as Northern Premier Division side Ilkeston FC were the visitors. The attendance was the fourth largest recorded in the FA Cup that day beaten only by the matches involving former league club Hereford FC, former conference club Salisbury and Hitchin Town. Unfortunately the FA Cup run was ended as the three step gap between the clubs proved too much of a gap for Ashby to overcome. Despite having a couple of early half chances Ilkeston opened the scoring on 18 minutes and doubled their advantage before the break. The second half again saw Ashby have chances but as the match progressed it was Ilkeston who continued to find the net for a 6-0 victory with Ashby’s manager Miles Warriner summing up the game in just six words: “It was a step too far.” Next up for Ashby was another cup competition, the FA Vase and a home tie against Pelsall Villa. Ashby were made to work hard and the goals didn’t come until a dramatic final 15 minutes. Substitute Nick Sewell finally broke the deadlock on 75 minutes before both Pelsall and Ashby were reduced to ten men with the Ashby dismissal resulting in a penalty for Pelsall which they equalised from. Ashby won the match and a place in the 2nd Qualifying round with a second goal for Sewell a minute from time. Then in the space of a week three league matches brought three league victories. First up was a home match against Kimberley Miners Welfare which saw ten man Ashby battle their way to a narrow 3-2 victory. Goals from Thorogood and Turville before the break had put them in control before the visitors pulled one back just before the hour mark. Jack Ryder then restored the two goal advantage before Kimberley set up a tense finish with their second goal 15 minutes from time but Ashby held on. 16

SEASON REVIEW 2016/2017 Following that Ashby travelled to South Normanton Athletic and Gelding Miners Welfare and returned from both trips with maximum points, the first time they had won at either side. Goals from Thorogood and Ben Betteridge completed a 2-0 victory at South Normanton before a solitary goal from Turville was enough to defeat Gedling. Ashby were again on the road the following Saturday when they travelled to Stone to face West Midlands Regional League side Stone Old Alleynians in the 2nd Qualifying Round of the FA Vase. The match was far from the greatest and it took a 93rd minute equaliser from Betteridge to force extra time and with no further goals it meant a replay back at the NFU the following Wednesday night. The replay saw Stone open the scoring early before Ashby levelled in the second half through Josh Riley but neither side could find a decisive third goal and following another goalless spell of extra time it came down to a penalty shootout in which Ashby keeper Chris Hodge was the hero as he saved three penalties to see his side to a 3-1 shootout victory and a first round tie against Hucknall Town. OCTOBER Following a good first couple of months to the season October saw a change in fortunes for the club with league form suffering a dip in form and a disappointing exit from the FA Vase before the manager decided to call it a day following an early exit from the Leicestershire Challenge Cup. The first match of the month saw a comfortable victory away at Barrow Town which lifted Ashby into eighth place and just seven points off the top with two games in hand. Ashby found themselves two goals up inside the first six minutes thanks to Luke Thorogood and Joel Carta and a second goal for Carta after the break completed a 3-0 victory. The league form then turned with a disappointing 2-0 home defeat against then league pacesetters Aylestone Park. Two away trips followed with Kimberley Miners Welfare gaining revenge from last month’s defeat by coming from behind with ten men. George Wesley had given Ashby the lead five minutes before the break and shortly after the home side had a man sent off. The second half saw Kimberley quickly level following the restart with the winner coming inside the final twenty minutes. Ashby then travelled the short distance for a local derby against Stapenhill with just a bare 11 players and against a side who had scored 47 goals in their opening 12 matches. It looked set to be a tough afternoon but after Stapenhill had taken an early lead, goals from Carta and Horn put Ashby in front, a lead they held until the stroke of half time when Stapenhill levelled. It was the worst time to concede and the second half belonged to Stapenhill who added four more goals before Thorogood scored a late on to see the match end 6-3. Next up saw the start of the League Cup and a first round tie away at strugglers Holbrook Sports. Ashby put aside their league form to storm into a 4-0 half time lead with goals from Dan Stevenson (2), Sam Kirk and Danny Quinn. Holbrook did net a late consolation but it was too late to force a comeback and Ashby were easily through to the second round. More cup drama was to follow with the FA Vase 1st Round tie at home against Hucknall Town with Ashby producing a heroic last ditch comeback before falling to an extra time defeat. Trailing 2-0 at half time Ashby reduced the deficit through Danny Quinn on 76 minutes only to quickly fall 3-1 behind. Then in stoppage time Quinn headed home his second and with seconds left Ashby brought on Antonio Williams who scored with his first touch as Hucknall failed to clear. A well worked goal in extra time though gave the visitors the victory and a place in the second round. SEASON REVIEW 2016/2017 High scoring cup ties were becoming the norm for Ashby and on the following Tuesday they welcomed St Andrews to the NFU for the first round of the Leicestershire Challenge Cup and after taking a 2-0 half time lead through Quinn and Carta three goals in a seven minute spell turned the match in favour of the visitors who had earlier been reduced to ten men. Ashby did respond to retake the lead at 4-3 following an own goal and a second for Quinn. Poor defending in the final ten minutes saw them throw away the lead again and exit the competition following a 5-4 defeat after which the management team resigned. The final match of the month was a home league match against Anstey Nomads and Ashby did well to regroup following the manager’s exit to earn a 2-2 draw. An own goal had given Ashby the lead before Anstey turned the match around. Kerr Horn’s second half goal earned a share of the points. NOVEMBER As the search for a new manager began the start of November saw league form continue to suffer. Ashby travelled to Birstall United, last season’s Senior League champions and a team who would later challenge for the title, and came back empty handed with a single goal defeat. Defeat then followed in the next match, the reverse fixture with Dunkirk who opened up a 2-0 lead inside the opening 25 minutes before making it 3-0 twenty minutes from time. Dan Stevenson netted a consolation shortly after but there was to be no late comeback with the match ending 3-1. The new management team was then announced ahead of the midweek match against Gedling Miners Welfare. Steve Titterton, former Ivanhoe manager, would be taking the managerial reins alongside Lee Attenborough who had managed Sileby Town. The pair got off to a fantastic start and Ashby recorded their first league victory since the 1st October with a 7-1 win. They led 5-0 at the break through two goals from Thorogood, Evan Cawley, Luke Edwards and an own goal. Gedling scored their solitary goal just after half time before Danny Edwards and Luke Thorogood completing his hat-trick rounded off the scoring. The goal-scoring form continued into the following weekend’s match away at Belper United with Thorogood netting his second hat-trick in as many games and two goals from Luke Edwards giving Ashby a 5-0 lead before Belper scored a consolation seven minutes from time before the month ended with a rarity in local football, a goalless draw, at home against Arnold Town. DECEMBER If one goalless draw was a rarity two in a row definitely was and a trip to Holwell Sports at the beginning of December ended goalless before the teams met again at the NFU three days later for a League Cup 2nd Round tie. This time there were goals with Quinn giving Ashby the lead for all of 60 seconds before the visitors levelled. It took until the dying seconds for the match to be decided with Evan Cawley scoring to put Ashby through to the Quarter Finals. Three home league matches then followed before Christmas with Blaby & Whetstone Athletic the first visitors and they denied Ashby all three points with an 87th minute equaliser cancelling out a goal from Danny Edwards. The following weekend Borrowash Victoria were easily brushed aside with a 4-0 victory after first half goals from Riley and Turville put Ashby in control before second half goals from Louis Starkey and Chris Saunders sealed the three points. The final match of 2016 was to be a third goalless draw in six games as neither Ashby nor visitors Radford could break the deadlock. The result maintained the unbeaten record since Lee and Steve had took over which now stretched to seven league matches. 20

SEASON REVIEW 2016/2017 JANUARY Ashby made a good start to the New Year when they faced Holbrook Sports. They opened up a two lead with goals from Danny Edwards and Quinn before the lead was reduced ten minutes before the break. Riley and Quinn added second half goals to put Ashby firmly in control. Holbrook did net a second on 77 minutes and a third in stoppage time but it was too late and Ashby held on for a 4-3 victory. A trip to league leaders West Bridgford was next up and despite the improved form Ashby tasted defeat for the first time under the new management. Luke Thorogood gave them the best possible start with a goal after just three minutes but West Bridgford had turned that around before the break with three goals. Quinn brought Ashby back into the match following the restart but they couldn’t find an equaliser and West Bridgford sealed the points with a fourth goal inside the final ten minutes. There was only one more match during January as matches were postponed and a trip to Arnold Town saw Ashby return to winning ways. First half goals from Thorogood and Luke Edwards put them in control before Arnold reduced the deficit after half time. It remained that way until two minutes from time when George Wesley secured the three points for Ashby. FEBRUARY The weather continued to play a major part in February with only three matches going ahead. A trip to Graham Street Prims brought another three points as Thorogood and Edwards were on the scoresheet again in a 2-0 victory. Borrowash Victoria were then the visitors for the Quarter Finals of the League Cup and Ashby could not have had an easier passage through to the last four. They totally dominated the match and scored at ease. They were three up at the break with two goals from Quinn and one from Thorogood. The goals continue to flow in the second half with Thorogood netting his second and further strikes from James Purslow, Aaron Windram and Luke Edwards putting Ashby through to a Semi Final with Birstall United. Back to league action and a trip to high flying Aylestone Park saw Ashby on the wrong end of a 2-1 scoreline. They had taken the lead through Thorogood five minutes before the break with Aylestone levelling the scores ten minutes into the second half. The decisive goal coming three minutes from time. MARCH The final two months of the season were scheduled to be busy for Ashby with seven games in March as they looked to catch up on postponed matches. There was also the small matter of a league cup semi final. March was also an inconsistent month and it started with a home match against improved (at the time) Greenwood Meadows side. Normally struggling at the foot of the table they were a different side this season and Ashby almost slipped to an embarrassing defeat only for Danny Quinn to rescue a point two minutes from time. Then one of the best away results of the season was achieved with victory at Radford. Quinn had given Ashby an early lead which was quickly cancelled out before Radford edged in front just past the half hour mark. It wasn’t until the final fifteen minutes that Ashby turned the match in their favour. Manager Lee Attenborough netting the equaliser before an 92nd minute winner from Quinn. Following a superb away win came a disappointing home defeat and a heavy one at that. Barrow Town were the visitors for a midweek match and they quickly opened up a two goal lead inside fifteen minutes. Ashby threatened a comeback with Quinn reducing the arrears on 75 minutes but two more quick goals for Barrow gave them a 4-1 victory. vs South Normanton Athletic | Saturday 29th April 2017 | www.ashbyivanhoefc.com

SEASON REVIEW 2016/2017 A 4-1 home defeat was then followed by a 4-1 away victory as Ashby returned from Anstey Nomads with all three points. After falling behind two goals apiece for Thorogood and Riley gave Ashby victory although the final two goals didn’t come until the final five minutes. Then came another bizarre cup match in Ashby’s season. The league cup semi final against title challengers Birstall United. There was plenty of yellow cards, two men dismissed for Birstall and one for Ashby and just a single goal. Importantly the goal belonged to Ashby and it was scored from the penalty spot in the 98th minute by Danny Quinn. A strange game but Ashby had booked their place in the end of season final. The month finished with a couple of home matches with a rematch with Birstall and a local derby against Stapenhill. The Birstall match saw them avenge their league cup defeat and complete a league double with a single goal victory whereas the Stapenhill match saw an entertaining match and five goals. Ashby took the lead through Danny Quinn before the visitors quickly levelled. Ashby edged back in front before the break through Josh Riley. Just after the hour mark Stapenhill levelled for a second time only for Quinn to net his second soon after to seal the three points for Ashby. APRIL The final month of the season saw Ashby continue to catch up with eight matches to be played. An ever improving Belper United were the first opponents. The visitors took the lead six minutes before the break only for a long range effort from Jake Conkay to find the net and level the scores two minutes later. An even match was decided five minutes from time with Belper taking home the points with a 2-1 victory. Since that defeat Ashby have remained unbeaten as they have looked to push to the final game and achieve a highest league position possible. Radcliffe Olympic were the visitors for a midweek match and despite Ashby falling behind after just two minutes they put in a good performance to ease to a comfortable victory. Luke Edwards levelled the scores with Royce Turville making it 2-1 before half time. A second goal for Edwards doubled the advantage before late strikes from Danny Quinn and Luke Thorogood completed a 5-1 victory. The penultimate home match of the season was a match against Holwell Sports and it was far from a classic with Ashby taking the three points with a single goal from Quinn and this was followed by a midweek trip to Holbrook Sports then followed and Ashby found themselves 3-0 down just past the half hour mark before Quinn pulled one back eight minutes before half time. Ashby did mount a second half comeback but they left it until the final five minutes when two goals in a minute from Quinn and Turville rescued a point. Blaby & Whetstone Athletic were the next side to face a free scoring Ashby side and it didn’t help the home side that they were reduced to nine men but a fine performance saw Ashby earn a 5-1 away victory. They were 3-0 up at half time through a double from Thorogood and one for Riley. Blaby did pull a goal back early in the second half but further goals from Turville and William Rooke completed the victory. Next up was a trip to Radcliffe Olympic who Ashby had managed to cruise past just two weeks earlier. After a goalless first half the home side opened the scoring before Rooke scored his second in as many games to level the scores. Radcliffe did go back in front before Ryan Pearce brought the sides level again eight minutes from time and the points were shared. Following a 5-1 victory over bottom of the table Ellistown & Ibstock United today’s match against South Normanton Athletic will hopefully see Ashby end their league campaign on a high. Heading into the final week of the season Ashby have a League Cup Final to look forward to and the chance to win their first piece of silverware since becoming members of the East Midlands Counties League. Hopefully a positive result is achieved against Dunkirk before moving their focus to 2017/2018 and a promotion push and title challenge. 22

ASHBY IVANHOE FC SUPPORTERS CLUB THE OPPOSITION A very warm welcomeSTAPENHILL to everyone here at the NFU Sports Ground for this afternoon’s final first team home match of the East Midlands Counties League season against South Normanton Athletic. They were formed in 1947 and ten years after formation they joined the Leicestershire Senior So how do we rate thisLeague season? IN OPPOSITION TODAY SOUTH NORMANTON ATHLETIC We now enter the seventh season under the name of the newly formed SNAFC and progress over these years has been steady. Under the chairmanship of Phil Bailey who has completely single handed at times, transformed the stadium into what we see today. Entry back into the pyramid system with the Central Midlands League saw the club finish 11th / 3rd / 3rd and 9th and then runners up in the Southern division. Due to Clifton failing FA ground grading regulations, we were promoted to the East Midlands Counties league under the management of Mark Wilson. Mark left early in the first season for a position with Rocester but Tom Leighton took over as player manager and guided the club to a 7th position and the club won the Jenkins and Jenkins League Cup. This position brought us re-entry back into the FA Cup and we were not disgraced to go out in the second preliminary round replay to EVO-STIK Lincoln United. This year we hope to go further. Tom’s first full season in charge saw the club finish 4th after for much of the season looking favourites to win the title. A second league cup final was achieved but we lost our unbeaten record in this competition to Aylestone Park 2-1. The club first competed in the Vase in 1994 when in an extra preliminary round game at Home to Long Eaton United saw them win 3-0 to set up a game at Bradford Park Avenue (Where are they now? eventually losing 6-4. The best season in the competition saw them reach round 2 Proper in 2006-07 against one of the local clubs as these early rounds are regionalised. With the club getting the infrastructure in place we hope to make the next step to level 5 and with the help of our enthusiastic president Mike Robinson with whom we named the stadium after (M J Robinson Structures Arena)

ASHBY IVANHOE FC CLUB HISTORY Ashby Ivanhoe Football Club was founded in 1948 and play their home matches at the NFU Sports Ground, Lower Packington Road, Ashby de la Zouch in Leicestershire. This is the clubs new home from the beginning of the 2012/2013 season. Since being founded in 1948 up until the end of the 2011/2012 season the clubs previous home was at Hood Park also in Ashby de la Zouch. The club currently consists of four adult teams and a youth team. The first team play in the East Midlands Counties League, with the Reserves in the Leicestershire Senior League Premier Division. In the 2008/2009 season the club formed a Youth Team (Under 18’s) side who play in the Leicestershire Midweek Floodlit Youth League on Wednesday nights. A Sunday team was re-introduced for the 2012/2013 season and they play in the Burton Sunday League Division Three. For 2015/2016 a third Saturday side has been formed who will play in the North Leicestershire Football League Division One. The club also has 11 junior sides ranging from Under 9’s through to Under 17’s who play in the Burton Junior Football League, Tamworth Junior Football League and the Derby City League. The junior section came after the club merged with the David Hunt Soccer School at the beginning of the 2009-2010 season. In February 2004, Ashby Ivanhoe became an FA Charter Standard football club. The club is very ambitious and has plans to progress further up the league pyramid system. The club is run by an experienced management team and enjoys the support of some very prestigious commercial partners. Ashby Ivanhoe had one of their most successful seasons in 2010/11 as they completed a league and cup double by winning the Leicestershire Senior League by nine points and also lifted the Coalville Charity Cup for the very first time after producing a superb second half comeback to beat Bardon Hill 3-2 in the final. They have also reached successive Leicestershire Senior Cup finals in 2011/2012 and 2012/2013 but had to settle for runners-up on both occasions losing 3-1, firstly to Ibstock United and then Aylestone Park. The 2013/2014 season saw the first team achieve a long-term ambition as they won promotion into the Step 6 East Midlands Counties League for the 2014/2015 season after finishing third place in the Leicestershire Senior League. It was a close title race with the top three all finishing level on points with Ashby third on goal difference. The Reserves were also promoted to the Leicestershire Senior League Division One. 2014/2015 saw Ashby compete at Step 6 of the non-league pyramid for the first time and they had a very good season and secured a top six finish in the East Midlands Counties League which featured victories against all of the sides above them. The Reserve side were involved in a tight title race and it went down to a last day decider against Lutterworth Athletic Reserves but despite the result going against them on the day they were still promoted for the second season in succession and will play at Step 7 in the Leicestershire Senior League Premier Division for 2015/2016.
