ecently the YMCA gave their members a wonderful Christmas gift, a new look with new equipment in the Y Fitness Center. Equipped with a variety of new equipment ranging from cardio to strength training that will benefit exercisers of all fitness levels. The Life Fitness Insignia Strength System is user friendly with small resistance increments and adjustable range of motion. These features combine to produce equipment that is safe and easy to use. The Hammer Strength, Life Fitness, and Cybex performance strength training equipment is designed to provide endless training possibilities for athletes or those who train like one. Our goal is to provide the best equipment to help all individuals lead healthier lives and reach fitness goals. Here is a list of what the Y Fitness Center has to offer: Membership at the Randolph-Asheboro YMCA is easy and offers the best value in enjoying the many facets of the organization. When you join the Y, you're joining more than just a gym, you are becoming a part of a community. You are helping support a non-profit, cause driven organization that is committed to youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Normally the Y holds an annual Membership Drive at the beginning of the year, however this year the Membership Drive will be during the months of March and April. That means you can join during those months and pay NO Joining Fee (a savings of $50-$100 when you sign up). Stop by the Y Front Desk to get started. The Randolph-Asheboro YMCA is committed to creating a clean, safe and healthy environment for Members to feel comfortable coming to. Some things may look different, schedules may be changed, but that hasn’t stopped the Y from offering a variety of programming and services for its Members.
