TODAY’S PERFORMANCE IS TOMORROW’S OPPORTUNITY.
The Arrowhead story began over 28 years ago. Arrowhead Contracting was founded in 1990 in Lenexa, Kansas with a focus towards the Federal market sector. The company has continued to grow and flourish for close to three decades. During this time, Arrowhead established a strong reputation for successfully executing highly challenging projects involving general contracting and construction management services.
Curt Koutelas, Founder
In 2009, the company entered into its first of several contracts with the Indian Health Service. These contracts provided an important stepping stone for Arrowhead’s future growth and emergence as a preferred general contractor throughout Indian Country. As a member of the Osage Nation, Arrowhead’s founder Curt Koutelas has always had a desire to give back to his heritage which provided a positive influence during Arrowhead’s initial business endeavors. As Arrowhead’s base of business grew throughout Indian Country, Arrowhead Builders LLC was established in 2015 to focus primarily on the Native American construction market. A second office (Phoenix, AZ) opened in 2017 to better serve clients in the Western U.S. Arrowhead proudly serves Tribal clients throughout the United States as a full-service, Native-American owned General Contractor and Construction Management firm.
