2010-2011 was a momentous year for Ashley Hall. We officially completed phase two of our Campus Master Plan by opening our beautiful new Dining Commons to reinstate the community-building, family-style dining tradition. The grounds have never looked better. Our legend oaks still stand guard over our sacred green spaces that are now connected with winding pathways where you can typically find our younger students excavating for sharks’ teeth and other fossils. Our athletic teams were victorious and the productions of Little Women and Peter Pan were standing room only. We also had a wonderful year with our fundraisMalcolm Rhodes ing efforts. The entire Ashley Hall community came together for the Parent’s Association’s Green Carpet Gala which raised over $135,000. All of our constituencies continued their unflagging support of the Loyalty Fund which raised over $650,000 in both unrestricted and restricted gifts. The Centennial Campaign continues its steady progress forward and currently stands at almost $9 million dollars, a record breaking number for the School. This success is due directly to the unwavering support of our community and their fervent belief in the continued relevance of our founding mission. This Annual Report is a testament to that. On behalf of the Board of Trustees, the faculty and staff, and most importantly our students, I say thank you to our incredible community for your generosity.
