Corporations, small companies, and workers are redefining how and where people work. As the market evolves, the current workforce is faced with options ranging from traditional of fice space to St arbucks or even their own living room. In the past, alternative workspaces have t ypically fallen short. Today, alternative workspaces are a mainstream option. The workforce of the f uture longs for a sense of belonging, regardless of whether they are working alone or in a group. The communit y element of work largely defines our business culture.
Our workplaces must provide spaces for connection – both digitally and face toface. Views on sustainabilit y plus the influx and adoption of mobile technology have significantly shif ted our perception of densit y. The average square footage per individual work space at NEXT is approximately 48 SF. The emphasis, instead, is placed on the variet y options available within the overall environment – the ecosystem of zones.
