Hi everyone! Another month has come and gone, and we’ve reached our last month of summer before school starts… It had to be said. No worries though, this means the regular weekly meetings will start up again, so I hope you’re ready to use your best recruiting skills to get new members for the new school year by explaining what Key Club is and what we stand for. Although membership growth is always emphasized, and it’s very important; I’d just like to stress the importance of quality over quantity. We want to have dedicated, active members in Division 32, Pacific Northwest District, and Key Club International. However, it’s always a plus if we have a large quantity of quality members! Before we get too much into the future, let us recap the past month through this newsletter! In this issue, you’ll find my ICON 2016 updates, July DCM and bonfire social recap, August Joint DCM, info about Key Leader and more!
Hope you enjoy, and I look forward to visiting your clubs again soon in the next few months. Please reach out to me if you ever need anything!
All for KCCP…
In Caring and Service,
Ashley Villanueva

MEET PACIFIC NORTHWEST DISTRICT’S
International Trustee
Greetings, Pacific Northwest District! My name is Nicole Montana, and I am honored to introduce myself as your new International Trustee. This year, I will be serving the Kansas, Louisiana-Mississippi-West Tennessee, and Pacific Northwest Districts, and I feel so lucky to be working with you all in the coming year. I’m from the New England and Bermuda District, and I’m from Marshfield, Massachusetts, a small beach town just south of Boston, where I’m going into my senior year. I’m on my school’s Mock Trial team and am a part of my Drama Club, but when I started high school three years ago, Key Club was the first club I joined. The time I’ve spent and the people I’ve met in Key Club have changed my life and allowed me to meet some of my best friends. As your International Trustee I’m here to ensure that you can make the most of your time in Key Club. I’m here to be the link between you and Key Club International, to ensure that you have a voice in our organization, and that you’re informed about what’s going on at the International level. I hope that during this year, I get to many of you and that you feel comfortable coming to me as both a resource and as a fellow Key Club member. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me at anytime by email or at 781-738-8623. I'm also on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, so feel free to add me there as well! This is going to be an amazing year and I'm so excited to see what we all accomplish! In friendship and service,
Nicole Montana International Trustee, Key Club International 781-738-8623 | kctrusteenicole@gmail.com

We wanted to recognize someone who was really getting into the Key Club spirit and we thought she was a great fit. She started to attend divisional events and got to meet a few people as well ever since the summer started. When she can, where she can, she had also been out there volunteering at many of the events we advertise, especially when not too many other people sign up. -Ashley Vo
Kristina Dong has volunteered about 40 hours so far this summer and attended Seattle Rally! –Carolyn Phung

In addition to being an exceptional Pokemo snagging a Dragonite for our Bulletin editor, s consistently to our summer Farmer’s Market ev drives us to volunteer mentally through spirit AND by providing transportation to other memb personality as a key clubber and human being ha strong bonds with the board and other key clubbe It pains us to see such a great member leave the L High School Key Club and look forward to serving again. -Vincent Nguyen
Andrew Ieng should be member of the month. Though he has been member of the month before, he shows continued participation in events and passion for this club. He has volunteered at most events this month and he showed up at the tailgate party and Seattle Rally (and I'm assuming DCMs too). He loves Key Club a lot and you can tell. Even when he's busy he always tries to make time to do something, especially when you really need help. -Emily Siangkam
on hunter, she shows vents and physically bers! Her as created ers as well. Lindbergh g with her
Maregyle Carpio because she managed to organize the Divisional Bonfire and it was great to see the rest of the division together again. –Tera Chea
Special Shoutouts to Emily Choi and Tina Pham Tiffany because she's been so active this summer. When I need volunteers, she volunteers either herself or volunteers to find volunteers for me. She has gone to about every Key Club event--Seattle Rally, DCMs-and at our recent committee head meeting she helped contribute ideas for the upcoming year. She really shines and has a lot of potential, and it makes me so excited to work with her, but also appreciate that she's on our team. -Ammara Touch

“A picture is worth a thousand words.”
On July 29, D32 (+21, 26, 28, and 33) gathered at Saltwater State Park to hangout each other at this Bonfire/Potluck social organized by Michele Chao and Mareg Carpio. Unlike DCMs, it’s more chill and less structured, however people still enjo the entirety of this event. Thanks to everyone who brought food, drinks, and ute to the potluck!
