Hello new members, old members, alumni, and everyone else! Summer’s been a memorable time for everyone, from big joint DCMs to spirited rallies to cozy bonfires to countless service events. Key Club in the summer never ends. However, now that summer is (almost) over (fall starts on September 22, so it’s still summer no matter how much it rains in Washington), it’s time to get back into the groove of weekly service events, regular Key Club meetings, and busier times because of the oh-so dreaded, yet essential, school. By now there are probably new eyes reading this newsletter since school has finally started. So, hello! I’m Ashley, nice to virtually meet you. Halfway through the Key Club service year, it’s time to recruit all those new members for the MUC to increase membership in Division 32 and Pacific Northwest District, otherwise known as DUES SEASON.

Let’s talk about school for a second (sorry), but it’ll be short (kind of). School is going to get harder and more stressful, it’s inevitable. Because of this, I want you guys to know that I understand that school will come first at times, but please do let me know if things get busy for you and I’ll be happy to help or listen. This goes for members and officers, likewise, because I’m a high schooler too, and I know it’s not a walk in the park. This was shorter in my head, oh well. Love you guys and good luck with your first month of school!

In Caring and Service,

Ashley Villanueva

LETTER FROM YOUR 04

Lieutenant Governor

MEET PACIFIC NORTHWEST DISTRICT’S

International Trustee

Greetings, Pacific Northwest District! My name is Nicole Montana, and I am honored to introduce myself as your new International Trustee. This year, I will be serving the Kansas, Louisiana-Mississippi-West Tennessee, and Pacific Northwest Districts, and I feel so lucky to be working with you all in the coming year. I’m from the New England and Bermuda District, and I’m from Marshfield, Massachusetts, a small beach town just south of Boston, where I’m going into my senior year. I’m on my school’s Mock Trial team and am a part of my Drama Club, but when I started high school three years ago, Key Club was the first club I joined. The time I’ve spent and the people I’ve met in Key Club have changed my life and allowed me to meet some of my best friends. As your International Trustee I’m here to ensure that you can make the most of your time in Key Club. I’m here to be the link between you and Key Club International, to ensure that you have a voice in our organization, and that you’re informed about what’s going on at the International level. I hope that during this year, I get to many of you and that you feel comfortable coming to me as both a resource and as a fellow Key Club member. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me at anytime by email or at 781-738-8623. I'm also on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, so feel free to add me there as well! This is going to be an amazing year and I'm so excited to see what we all accomplish! In friendship and service,

Nicole Montana International Trustee, Key Club International 781-738-8623 | kctrusteenicole@gmail.com

On July 12, we had a Joint DCM with Division 33. This DCM was focused on getting to know our sister krakens. Everyone became acquainted through the Name Game and Yours, Your Neighbors. Then, we split them off into groups where they had to partake in an activity that would get them to work together. Afterwards, everyone decorated non-slip kids socks for KCCP and had a Miracle Minute in which we raised $89.34. The DCM ended with small potluck and members water ballooned Rheanna and I as "LtG punishments".
