Word Document used for Internal Application Process For Management Position (submitted to Management in 2009) I currently hold a BA in Mass Communication and Film with a Minor in Journalism from Southwestern College and am in the process of completing my MSM (Masters of Science in Management) from Southwestern College. This program has enhanced my knowledge of organizational management and has given me the basic, essential skills to understand how to manage people effectively. Some classes that I have completed are: Quality Management and Statistical Analysis, Project Management Fundamentals, Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management, Managing Organizational Change and Conflict, Leadership Coaching, Leadership Styles and Theories, Organizational Leadership and Ethics, among others. My average GPA is 96.36. I will be finished with classes in December 2009 and will graduate May 2010. I have worked for KANZA Bank since July 2007. I currently serve as a Teller/CSR in Anthony. I was promoted to Back-up CSR in 2009, and have consistently increased performance. My product sales for 2009 as of July 20th are 146. My average Cross Sale Ratio as of July 20th 2009 is 1.98. June was an outstanding month with 73 product sales, a new customer cross sale ratio of 3.29, an existing customer cross sale ratio of 2.05. I have good working knowledge of iCore, Arta, and DCI teller programs. I have been given the duty of teller trainer at the Anthony branch. My other responsibilities at the bank, either in the past or currently include various audits including cashier’s and expense checks, legal file, and safe boxes. I realize that each individual within a corporate environment has different needs which a manager must be able to understand and fulfill. I have the confidence to seek out answers when needed. I consistently strive to be better and do more. I work quickly and efficiently. I am dedicated to finding ways to boost business in our Wichita market and to the success of KANZA Bank and each individual branch. I believe that I could be an asset to the West Wichita branch by providing leadership to our staff and excellent customer service to our clients. Many times, in my current position at KANZA, I have felt as though my time, energy, and potential are not being utilized to their maximum capability. I believe this management position would take advantage of my potential. I don’t want to be just a manager at Auburn Hills but a leader in the KANZA Bank company. I want to manage and serve to the best of my abilities. I can say that my current management education has opened my eyes to the difficulties and rewards of management and I believe it would be an exciting and educational experience for me. I would be appreciative of the opportunity to put my education to practice for this company.
