REGIONALWERT AG Scaling model: social franchise To scale Regionalwert AG’s model in Spain we use a social franchise system. The major difficulty is the search of a local reliable partner with experience in local organic food, financial innovation systems and network. To scale further, EcoRegio is also prototyping a social platform to develop the crowdfunding model.
Barriers to scaling •! Poor social investment culture especially among impact investors. •! Among local potential partners, lack of team work skills and very hierarchical organisational structures which do not nurture innovation.
