This Anthology The Silk Road Literature Series Anthology, Ancient Egyptians, Modern Poets, shows once again that great appreciation of the Egyptian civilization among the poetic word figures, from East, West, South and North of different generations with the diversity of their walks… The Anthology features a main panel with the name of the poets beginning their section with background paintings drawn on papyrus, carved in stone or colored on the walls of temples and tombs, followed by one or more poems and a brief biography, creating an exceptional historical cultural work. This is the third issue of The Silk Road Literature Series Anthology – Ancient Egyptians- Modern poets, to be published this fall. After the announcement of the final list of the world’s poetesses and poets participating in the Silk Road series anthology, 150 creative icons have been assembled from 37 countries; Russia, Kosovo, India, Cape Verde, Serbia, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Kyrgyzstan, Chile, Egypt, New Zealand, Armenia, Albania, Mexico, Argentina, Germany, Montenegro, Greece, Poland, Croatia, Honduras, Kenya, Indonesia, Italy, Syria, Malaysia, Portugal, Bangladesh, Peru, Nigeria, Iraq, China, Pakistan, Taiwan, Spain, Brunei Darussalam and the United Kingdom in almost 600 pages. This is the third issue of The Silk Road Literature Series Anthology – Ancient Egyptians- Modern poets. The first one, issued in the spring of 2021, was entitled “Asia sings” (322 pages), while the second issue came in the summer of the same year under the name “Mediterranean Waves” (444 pages). The author of 64 books of poetry and prose. Laureate of the State Literary Prize of the Governor of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous district, laureate of the National Prize “Silver Feather of Russia”, “For the Good of the World”, “North is a Country Without Borders”, silver medal of the IV All-Russian Literary Festival of Festivals. Silver medal of the IV Eurasia Literary Festival of Festivals. Holder of the international title "Knight of Poetry" (Serbia, 2020). Prize of the Association of Literary Translators of Montenegro for the book "Meaning of Life" in Serbian (2020). Thanksgiving diplomas for participating in the poetry festival (Costa Rica & Mexico) and in a poetry charity event (Argentina). Second place in the poetry competition "Vincenzo Padula" in Italia. He awarded a special diploma of the Sixth Competition of the Italian Academy of Julia Brignone.

Glória Sofia, is a dreamer as most poets. Born in the city of Praia in Cape Verde, Gloria shares her dreams with her two children. She graduated in Engineering and Environmental Management in the Azores, another place that she cherishes for allowing her to continue to be an islander. Ever fascinated by writing, she has played with words since she was a child, exchanging dolls for diaries, and finding comfort when her secrets and thoughts are guarded in a white page. Gloria’s poems capture moments of her journey and are full of passion and the emotions as the author herself. Gloria has grown to make her voice heard in different arenas, believing that in addition to writing about feelings she also needs to speak, shout or take action on some realities. Among other poetry sites she collaborates with the online newspaper of magazines in the world. She was nominated to apply for RMAPAI. She has been invited for 3 University from Boston (April 2019). Harvard University, Tufts University and Boston University for reading and conversation about genre and literature. She's also represented her country Cape Verde in VIII Conference in Portuguese Language Literature UMass Boston, gala cidad la paz Bolivia 2020. The sun rose, as a little boy of bronze from Luxor was bringing water from the River Nile. At site, a rest was taken by the famous explorer, And workers were waiting a relieve from the heat for a while. Howard Carter was holding a head full of despair, After wrong excavation for the fifth long year. The the boy who carried jars full of holy water, Looked for a break for fresh air. Upon arriving at the Valley of the Kings and Queens, The boy, whose name was Hussein Abdel Rasoul, stopped. Feeling that the dancing jars would fall off his donkey, “A reconnection is needed”, he whispered to no one but his heart.

Whenever I visit King Tutankhamun, I salute the young King, But I also show respect to the British archaeologist, And I always remember, in pride, the young boy from Luxor. The young boy found the way to the young king, But history is a bird with more than a wing.

Ana Stjelja was born 1982 in Belgrade (Serbia). In 2005 she graduated from the Faculty of Philology from the Turkish Language and Literature Department. In 2009 she earned a Master's Degree in Sufism. In 2012 she obtained her PhD in Serbian Literature (with the thesis on the life and work of one of the first Serbian women writers and world travelers Jelena J. Dimitrijevid). She is a poet, writer, translator, journalist, researcher and editor. She published more than 30 books of different literary genres. She is the Editor-in-chief of the Alia Mundi magazine for cultural diversity and the online literary magazine Enheduana. She is also the founder and the editor of the Eastern Pearl, a web portal dedicated to the literature art and culture of the East and the Poetryzine, an online magazine for poetry in English. As an acclaimed and awarded writer, she has published her works in notable Serbian and international print or online magazines, literary blogs and portals. She is the regular collaborator of The Poet Magazine (England). In 2018 she established the Association “Alia Mundi” for promoting cultural diversity. Francisco Azuela was born on March 8, 1948 in León, Guanajuato. Is a writer and poet. He served as a diplomat in the Mexican Embassy in Costa Rica and later in Honduras (1973–1983). Azuela comes from an artistic family of some renown: his great uncle was Mariano Azuela, author of one of the most celebrated novels of the Mexican Revolution, Los de abajo (The Underdogs). He studied Law at the University of Guanajuato and at the National Autonomous University of Mexico -UNAM-; Literature at the Ibero-American University of Mexico City and Pedagogy at the Department of Free Studies of the Pan-American University of Mexico City; He also received courses, workshops and seminars on Philosophy and Literature at the Complutense Universities of Madrid and Laval de Québec, Canada. Masudul Hoq(1968) has a PhD in Aesthetics under Professor Hayat Mamud at Jahangirnagar University,Dhaka,Bangladesh. He is a contemporary Bengali poet,short story writer,translator and researcher. His previous published work includes short stories Tamakbari(1999), The poems Dhonimoy Palok(2000) , Dhadhashil Chaya which translated version is Shadow of Illusion(2005) and Jonmandher Swapna which translated version is Blind Man’s Dream (2010),translated by Kelly J. Copeland. Masudul Hoq also translated T.S. Eliot’s poem , Four Quartets(2012), Allen Ginsburg’s poem, Howl(2018), from English to Bengali. In the late 1990’s for 3 years he worked under a research fellowship at The Bangla Academy. Bangla Academy has published his two research books. Smaragdi Mitropoulou was born in Athens. She has studied history and archaeology at the University of Athens and had postgraduate history studies at the University of Cardiff, in Great Britain. She serves in secondary education. She is also a Creative Writing graduate (Diploma in Creative Writing) from the Writers’ Bureau College (Manchester, UK), and has studied theater writing at the International Theater Institute and directing at the Foundation of Culture in Tinos island.

“One moment just an eternity”, has been translated in English and was published in 2020 by Ontime Books in Great Britain; it has become best-seller in eight countries. It is prefaced by writer and radio producer Theofanis L. Panagiotopoulos. She has been honored three times with the Larry Niven Fantasy Literature Prize (first and second prize in the "Fantasy" category). In 2019 she was awarded the ALEXANDROS PAPADIAMANTIS prose prize by the literary magazine KEFALOS for her work and her active presence in contemporary intellectual activity. Also, the Hellenic Cultural Club of Cyprus chose "Barsaat the dance of rain" as Book of the Year 2019. In 2020 she was honored with the PANORAMA YOUTH LITERARY AWARD 2020 during Panorama International Literature Festival 2020 in India.

I choose some words, the world, the dark flow. I seem to be the debris of an ancient papyrus carved on the nets of stone of a painted god. I come across galleries, frantic violins playing in my head; glowing roots of aromatic plants take me by surprise. Probesi of mist hang all over my body. In the world covered by marine verses, a net of effervescent fishes and maps comes up and shapes the fever, the ancient ramparts, and I see myself as a woman sitting on a bundle of enigmas. Suddenly, a surgical sound wakes me up. I can no longer remember deranged mornings. All at once, the moon hides in my eyes,

I nominate the world, a magic language, the dark flow, the powerful heart ventricles, the dense atria. I think of the mummies, on their abdomen covered with ancient cloths impregnated by hot resins, on the flint knives, light like feathers, and on the ceremony of the revival of the Spirit, by opening the mouth, announcing the ankh (symbol of life), and the dream that lies like an ancient scarab

Dr. Rati Saxena – Rati Saxena is a Hindi poet, translator, and editor, as well as an academic scholar of Vedic and ancient literature. She has five collections of poetry in Hindi and four in English (translated and/or rewritten). She has translated fifteen books, mostly from Malayalam into Hindi, and five poetry collections by International poets from English into Hindi. Her poetry is translated and published in book form in many languages, including English, Italian, Vietnamese, Spanish, Estonian, Serbian, Turkish, and Uzbek. She has participated in over 35 poetry festivals and has held three poetry residencies in Germany and China. Her poem was also part of a space mission by Jaxa, Japan, along with 24 other poems. Employees of the Istanbul Archaeological Museum in Istanbul carefully brush a marble statue in the garden, It is a young man lost hundreds and hundreds of years ago in the sea. I am his mother and for hundreds and hundreds of years I've been calling his name from city to city, from country to country, and when I see him, I run alleviated towards his cold, his emptiness, his inertia. I embrace him and I feel the tender tingling of the ashes In which centimetre by centimetre my body collapses. Falling grain by grain into my son's pores, no brush or paintbrush can separate me from his skin. And now, my dust accompanies him, shelters him and protects him for hundreds and hundreds of years in the museum's storanges.

Three non-talking pantomimic creatures live without much ado. The two children go to their respective schools sunrise. The old retired sergeant lives alone all by himself. After swimming the live-long day in the sea of news he climbs ashore after sunset. On shore there is darkness a beastly despair. On the pages of the streets the fire spitting atomic dragon bums. The shadow of an inward melancholy spreads over his part of the world. What is his sadness what grief rends his heart? He does not have a wife to look after only two daughters.

Nature must be more natural and more charming than any one’s expected. A significantly long wait was hanging in my note pad, believe so, summer will knock me out promptly. Windows are open, the doorbell activated, close circuit cameras keep watching around. I accept wind will listen to the whispering of the branches that leaning on each other. Cheerful breezes will make a wave in the hearts of trees. I just have been waiting to capture them. I would see her shadow left behind, some maple leaves blown over it to absorb fragrances. I would have a beautiful walk under the wooden garden. Sunlight will change its name to flashlight; the ray of lights is not the lights; they are bows of sun, just falling in the ground. Might be there is a river inside me to take a divine drive to Ocean from this forest. I won’t let it be finishing so soon. Once summer vanished, I would hear the whispering of the branches of trees. My stunning eyes get stuck to the brightness of the leaves where the sun painted green on them. Quivering leaves are knocking behind me; summer will go soon. Leaves will go off quicker.

A Locked Down Seagull I used to see the reflection of sunlight dancing on your lips, sparking and glittering like pearls on the golden grass. Now a deadly frustration encompassing me. An invisible animal is out to vanish all the lights. We are getting disappeared on the darker day by day. Can we remember 1820, 1920? And now 2020. Is it equality, snatching peace away from us? We may mention it’s a revenge of nature. Never expect this incompatibility to our life ever, but this is literal to the human; this is also true we didn’t care about our planet. Still, we are using a huge amount of plastic bottles and containers and throwing them into the seawater at the end. We are clearing the natural states an acre and acre. We are killing animals for a million purposes. Now a day everything has stopped. Silences and loneliness surrounded us. However, nature is getting so green though. Animals are in the open yard like free verse poetry. Unlimited fresh oxygen around us like kite flying in the sky; soft breezes are blowing over the building like birds are set free to roam. ron’t move inside out. relivery vans are dropping the goods, Uber-eats are delivering the client’s order. But we are completely locked in the wall. We can’t enjoy the time; We have been just counting the day for the new sun; we have been waiting for the new light.

Dr. Perwaiz Shaharyar is an Editor in National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), Ministry of Education, Government of India. He had been Principal Publication Officer in National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language in 2007. He is, presently, a member of Advisory Board of National Book Trust India He is a Multilingual (English, Hindi and Urdu) famous poet, short story writer and critic from India. He is Graduate with English Honors from Ranchi University. He has topped Jawaharlal Nehru University in Masters with Literature. He was awarded Doctor of Philosophy for his Research Work from University of Delhi. He is Post Graduate Diploma holder in Calligraphy, Mass Media and in Book Publishing with Specialization in Editing. He has begun writing his poems in English since lockdown in the period of Pandemic Covid-19. He has written around 50 poems, participated in many worldwide webinars and published in various international anthologies, so far. His as many as 25 poems have been translated by many award winning litterateurs in Polish, Indonesian, Arabic, Spanish and Albanian languages. His poems are being published in several magazines within country and abroad. His poem ‘The Burning Boat’ contains mystic (Sufism) and metaphysical elements. He has bagged many States and National Awards and accolades for his literary works. His around 200 articles and research papers have been published in reputed national and international literary journals and periodicals. He has total 13 published books, 2 each of collections of short stories and collections of poems, 5 books of criticism and 4 books of translation from other languages in his credential. His one children story book has been published by a premier organization National Book Trust, India. His collection of 12 stories for children is ready to print from India. Sreetanwi Chakraborty is an Assistant Professor in Amity Institute of English Studies and Research, Amity University Kolkata. She graduated from Presidency College Kolkata, did her Postgraduation from the University of Calcutta, and obtained her M.Phil from Rabindra Bharati University on The Sleeping Beauty Wakes Up: A Feminist Interpretation of Fairy Tales. This was published as a book in 2019, and it received the ‘Rising Star’ Award for non-fiction category at New Town Book Fair, Kolkata. She has been the recipient of the ‘Charuchandra Ghosh Memorial Award’ for securing the highest marks from Calcutta University. Dr.Raja Rajeswari Seetha Raman hails from Malaysia. She is a bilingual poet who writes in Bahasa Melayu (The National and Official Language of Malaysia) and English, a certified translator, researcher, literary critic, essayist and a freelance lecturer. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy Degree from Academy of Malay Studies University of Malaya. She has two collection of poems, two books on translation, two books on pedagogy, and her research published in Journal of Malay Literature, International journals and proceedings. Her poems are published in more than 200 anthologies local and international and translated into more than 37 world languages. Four of her poems are Malay songs now. She was the official translator of English poems into Malay for POINT Editions digital magazine in Spain and blog poetry bridges in Poland from 2018 till early 2021. Currently, lectures at ASWARA (National Academy of Arts, Culture and Heritage) and MTA (Malaysian Translation Association) on Creative Translation. Dr Jahangir Alam Rustom was born on December 31, 1970 at the village of Magura Mandol Bari, Post Office: Magura, sub-district: Kishorgonj, District: Nilphamari, Bangladesh. His family name is Jahangir Alam, and his nick name is Rustom, and his full name is Jahangir Alam Rustom. He obtained B.Sc.Ag from the Sher-E-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1996 and an MS degree in Environmental Science from Bangladesh Agricultural University, The Silk Road Literature Anthology

He has written eight books of English poetry that have already been published and earned impressive distinction at home and abroad. For writing exciting English poetry, he gained a lot of accolades, crests, awards and receptions at home and abroad. He is associated with more than forty human rights organizations and poetry platforms across the world, and holds different categories of posts and positions. For writing romantic poetry, he is known as ‘Poet In Love’ in the poetry kingdom. Some of his poems are translated into different languages in different countries and included in syllabuses and curriculum in some countries. For his unique contribution in English literature, his biography had been published in an anthology named ‘HOME ANTHOLOGY-AN Antidote of CREATIVE EXPRESSION’ as a world-famous and great poet in 1920 in Texas, USA. He is a guest poet at N-TV in Bangladesh and New York Parrot TV, USA. Different poetry platforms and human right organizations have published his biography as a featured poet with some selected poems across the world. Among the poetry books, ‘Charms of Love’, ‘Love in Life’, ‘Song of Youth’, ‘Resonant Rhymes for Cheering Children’, ‘Shadow of Love’, 'Dream of Love’ are very popular among avid readers of the globe.
